Book of the Law
“Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law.”
The study of this Book is forbidden. It is wise to destroy this copy after the first reading. Whosoever disregards this does so at his own risk and peril. These are most dire.
Those who discuss the contents of this Book are to be shunned by all, as centres of pestilence. All questions of the Law are to be decided only by appeal to my writings, each for himself. There is no law beyond Do what thou wilt.
Love is the law, love under will.
The priest of the princes,
ANKH-F-N-KHONSU
——————————————————
This book, written by Aleister Crowly proclaimed the arrival of a new stage in the spiritual evolution of humanity.
This new stage would be called The Aeon of Horus.
Aeon is the word used in the religion of Thelema, it describes the sections of the history of humanity.
Crowly believed himself to be the prophet of this Aeon, and created this new religion of Thelema. The Book of The Law, is equivilant to the holy books found in other religions.
I Know
Sleeping under a water sky
my blood is ice and my tears hidden
I want to know this life
and of my burdens be ridden
But as the smoke creeps in
sent out by the light
be wary of the man
who says he’s good and bright
Because when hell looks so delicious
and heavens’ really bland
We know we’re all just peices
of a game, so grand
Oh darling teach me,
teach me of your world
where love is pure
And blossom lips curl
I am slowly awakening
there’s still much more to learn
but to feed your mind and grow
you’ll have to wait your turn
Keep your eyes open,
for nothing is as seems
this pain and hurt and suffering
is just the big mans scheme.
“We rise by lifting others.”
