"Urm... little fox..?" A gentle voice with a slightly shaky tone could be heard near The Little Fox's place, before a blue portal slowly appeared. A Magister which was wearing a lavender coloured chef clothes stepped out of it, carrying a paper bag with him.

He glanced around that place and, ... there was no sign of the little fox. He sighed, as he gently placed the paperbag on top of a barrel and... casted a barrier upon it.

"There... a protective seal... ... Only his paw and I... could break it... ... I... hope he comes back... soon... ... It's just a simple cuisine which I... cooked... and a beverage which Miss Eva... brewed... for him... ... The Little Fox..." He felt... ever so awkward when saying it, instead of His true identity.

He stared at the paperbag on top of the barrel for awhile and... get ready to head back, as he didn't know... if the little fox would ever stop by there, anymore...

He yelped when suddenly, a familiar voice could be heard behind him, as he was about to leave via the blue portal. He looked over his shoulder and saw... the little fox, gazing up towards him and immediately asking a few questions.

"Ahh... Little Fox... You startled me..." He flushed, as he touched the back of his neck. "Well... I... Urm... I brought something for you..." He headed back towards the barrel and tapped the barrier, as it broke ever so easily. He took out a lunch box from the paper bag and opened it. Such... aromatic, mouth-watering scent came out of it, as inside of it was...

"A... simple cuisine... that I cooked... Some... chicken tenders and mashed potatoes... ... In addition... Miss Eva brewed for you... A juice... Made out of some berries..." He took out a glass of berry juice from the paper bag and placed it on top of the barrel, now... Beside the lunch box.

He gave a sheepish smile towards The Little Fox, as he didn't expect him to show up... ... He did the same thing towards The Little Fox of his realm, by placing the simple meals on top of the barrel at his place, however... ... He never showed up.

( By simply catching the scent of the—oh Dura above—the chicken tenders and mashed potatoes from the lunch box, the Little Fox already can tell this is of the quality that’s up to his alley. That, with a glass of berry juice? )

He nodded slowly, as he twirled some strands of his silver, wavy long hair. "The... The pleasure is all mine... Little Fox... Indeed... I and Miss Eva... made it especially... for you... ... Your Highness..." His voice came out shaky, as the last two words became a whisper. 

He bowed briefly, then... flustered when hearing The Little Fox's offer and the tiny head tilt of him. '... Arodable...' his mind screamed.

"A gift... from you, Little Fox..? Well... I... urm... I truly... didn't expect anything... in return..." He touched the back of his neck, smiling awkwardly at him, as he glanced at the fluffy tail of his, tapping the floor lightly and... glancing back at the meals on top of the barrel.

"I... It's an honour... to receive anything... from you... Little Fox... I would accept it... with open heart... ..." He lowered his gaze, hand slightly twitching to give a light pat on His fluffy head, however... he refrained himself. 

... He wouldn't dare to point out his own request, as he felt it would be rude to do so...

Sit with me a moment. ( The fox’s own voice lowers and softens. )

( He proceeds by gently nudging on the mage’s leg with his snout, ears laid back… relaxed. He then looks up at him with a soft nod and the gentle gaze that—even in fox form—resembles the King himself. )

( He’s not asking Kafka to just sit with him. It wouldn’t be that simple now would it? )

He flustered when the little fox... implored him to sit beside him for a moment with such... soft tone. His face became redder than before when he did such... adorable act, by nudging his leg, a brief nod and giving a gentle gaze towards him.

Those adorable act of his... Reminded him of Magister Eudora in her Snow White Fox Form.

'Such... adorable foxes...' he mumbled, as his hands twitching, refraining himself to patting his head, like a regular, fluffy animal... due to respect of His Status, as The First King of the Empire of Savannah and even, now... a Celestial.

He plastered an awkward smile and... nodding his head slowly, "Then... allow me..." He conjured a Woven Rug out of thin air and... laying it flat on the ground, nearby the barrel with the lunchbox and the berry juice. He took it and slowly sat on it, gently placing it on the Woven Rug for the little fox.

He patted an empty spot on the Woven Rug beside him, "It would be... more comforting to consume... the cuisine and... beverage... with company, right..?" He tried his best to not sound too shaky, as he, now... tilting his head, curious of what gift that The Little Fox would give towards him.

Oh, the news spread among people quickly as ever! You’d be surprised seeing how fast it goes.

Anything can happen in Savannah, the most interesting and the most mundane alike. Lately, I heard there was a scammer prancing around and posing as Merlin’s assistant to trick people. But he got caught as soon as he got exposed, so that got handled easy.

As for my favorite source… I can’t pick just one, you see. Gossips, rumors, newspapers, even how people like to exaggerate—just to pack a bit more punch into the latest interesting thing that catches their attention.

That’s also why I’m usually not around my lair. I like finding the most comfortable spots for my cozy naps… as well as the hottest news around.

Honestly, I dont know how you keep up with it. When I first awoken and was trying to emulate the late Merlin, I spent nearly hours curling my strands, and dyeing them white as snow. Its far easier now to just give it a wash and toss, but at least I use soap!
