//Since it's been a few days and I got more followers, old and new, heads up. Hi, this is Ansem from this blog. Had make a new one because yahoo deleted the email account attached to it, and tumblr will not let me update the email since it requires a new password. But probably be for the best, as much as I don't like it for safety reasons. Lovely situation, I know. Anyway, welcome, if you old rp partner or friend and wondered where the hell I've been all these years, don't be afraid to ask; long story, but yeah. Waiting, he lets the grape come as he takes it with his teeth; he slides his tongue around to lip Raha's finger in the process before pulling his sweet reward into his mouth.

"Alright. I'm sorry to worry you. Normally it doesn't bother me." Raha replied with a sigh and a wry smile. "I'm alright just... feeling my age I suppose. You can have as many kisses as you want my love. I'm not going anywhere."

He huffed in amusement when his fingers were licked but couldn't actually feel it since he was using his crystal hand to make it easier to clean the juices off later.

"There is nothing to apologize for. If anyone should apologize for their actions, it should be me after all that just transpired..." Ansem gently smiles. "You and me both..." Sometimes he wonders how long Raha would live, and if he would outlive him... Or would he somehow outlive Raha?

The crystal was cool, hard, but slick, making it even easier to lock as he lay there and chewed.

Seeing such a smile, he gently rubs his face. "Why the look? I got what I wanted, did I not?" He got what he wanted and so much more. More than he could ever ask for, more than he could imagine... "May I have another grape, please?"

"I suppose you did although you had to work for it." The Exarch replied with an amused huff although the sadness lingered in his gaze. This was one of the times were he wished he were a normal man rather than... than this thing he'd become to fulfill his duty.

"Of course love." He said as he selected another grape and once more pressed it to his mate's lips in offering.

Ansem says nothing to that. He can understand, has seen the limitations, how much the crystal has spread... There was no reason to apologize for that. But also, that was simply his limitation.

The elader shifts so he can get on his side for a moment and uses his hand as support as he moves in to kiss Raha deeply yet tenderly. After a bit, he slowly lays back down and watches for a reaction.

The Exarch knew his mate didn't blame him for his limitations and understood. Still, he couldn't help but be bothered when faced with them in such a normal, mundane moment. It should have been so very easy to just lean down and kiss his mate but he couldn't.

When his mate leaned up he leaned down as much as he could however to return the kiss with a soft hum. He smiled a sad, sweet smile when the kiss ended. He truly did love this man.

Thinking about all the options given to him, he replies. "I like to kiss you..."

"You're going to have to lean up for that I'm afraid. I can't bend over far enough to reach you like this." The Exarch replied with a sad smile as he looked down at his mate. Before the crystallization reached his spine he would have been able to manage it easily but now it was impossible. "I'm sorry love. I would lean down to you if I could."

As consolation he kept running his fingers through his mate's hair while seeing what the man would do or request next. Most of the time he was able to ignore the limitations of his body but moments like this reminded him all to keenly of just how much he'd lost.

He felt that? He sighs. Of course he did. He didn't say anything, however, since he was not in the mood or in the mental state to have that talk again. He just wanted to enjoy the present. With Raha...

The blond says nothing but instead simply scoffs. Once freed, he slowly moves to lie down and rests his head in his Exarch's lap before looking at him. "I would like that..."

"True but we needn't worry about it now. There is time yet. The time dilation is still in our favor with more time passing here than in my World." The Exarch soothed while rubbing his mate's back in gentle circles.

Once settled into their new position he began to gently run his fingers through his mate's hair while using his crystal hand to carefully select pluck grapes from the bowl of fruit before pressing them to his mate's lips.

"Would you like another sandwich or some of the other fruit as well? Or just grapes for now?" He asked softly while smiling sweetly down at his mate.

That was good. He wanted to spend more time with the other. To be with him, to get to know him as much as possible, to show him so many things...

Being offered help as emotional support, Ansem sighs. Right, he will need to talk about that too. They may already know, given how smart they all were, but... Be best for him to mention it in person. "Alright..."

That was also true; Raha would have to return home, and who knows how many more years till he sees him again. Slowly, his hands clench pieces of his mate's robe without it being noticeable. He knows it had to be done... At least...least they got to see each other and be together in one another's company before it happens. Slowly he loosens his grip. "It's soft and warm...and you smell nice...Like most of my favorite smells in one..."

Contemplating, he hums. "I would not mind resting my head in your lap. Would be far more comfortable..."

"We could but I suspect they will worry less and be more likely to let you leave unsupervised again if I claim to have taken a cat nap." The Exarch pointed out with a soft chuckle.

"It may also be wise to formally announce our relationship or at least the fact that we are in a romantic relationship." Raha added with a soft chuckle. "Although given some of the looks I've seen exchanged they may already know."

"Easily love. Remember, I believe I know of a way you can visit me. I just need to run a few tests on the Warp Drive and key it to your Aether so others can't use it." He soothed when he felt his mate's hands tighten in the layers of his robes. "It shouldn't take me long, then you can visit whenever you like and it should help stabilize the time dilation between our Worlds."

"Alright love. Are you still hungry? Perhaps I can feed you some grapes while you rest in my lap?" There was a hint of teasing to his words as he began to slowly move off of his mate's lap.

This man has a weakness for animalistic things he has found with some of his companions. Thankfully, it has not gone too far, and no one, including himself, has yet to find out just how weird he really was. Only two people have gotten close knowing how he can be.

Ansem sighs. Mayhap... Just...he wanted...no... needed to be stronger. Not just for himself, but for others... He cannot keep breaking down like this... it will only make things worse in the long run... He closes his eyes and presses a bit more into Raha's chest.

"I am, besides... we still have places I want to show you on the way back to the castle... And I do not want to fall asleep here and... I do not want to have to deal with myself in this state more than I need to; it annoys me... Greatly..."

Tired eyes look down. "I know..." It was because he just did not want to deal with it. He just wanted to move on. When they apologized, he simply stopped them. When they suggested things like what to do after things have gone back to normal, and how to go about it... It was like they were planning to stay... They even mentioned and talked to him like he was King and Mentor when he simply declined the titles... After a while of this, they simply stopped for the most part. He knows what they were thinking, and they tried to say something, but he would cut it off... He had enough to deal with at the time... He didn't want to deal with how to go about his relationships with people. Heck, he even was avoiding Mickey for the most part. Not that he believed the other would visit anytime soon.

"I know." Pressing a bit more, he groans. It was almost like being a teenager and a young adult, trying to navigate life, people, relationships, and what he wanted from his life. Generally, he would just bury himself in his studies with little to no consequences until he met someone who changed his life...but now? He wanted to do that but had his Apprentices and the Exarch to deal with.

"We have time love. At worst they come looking for us and find us in town. We can claim I found a sunny spot in the forest and took a nap. I'm sure they will believe it considering how many times one of them have caught me napping in the library window seat." The Exarch replied with a soft chuckle, perfectly willing to take the fall for this if it made his mate more comfortable.

"Would it help if I were there with you?" He offered softly since he knew it was bound to be a difficult conversation and they really should reveal the nature of their relationship to the others at some point. Well, perhaps not all the details but that they were in a relationship at the very least. "Perhaps having an outsider present will help. Or at the very least I can provide you support when you need it."

"it doesn't have to happen now or even soon but it probably would be best to do it before I have to return so I can support you in whatever way you need me." He soothed as he tightened his hold on his mate and rested his head on top of his mate's. "For now just rest. My chest might not be as large as yours but given how you're snuggling into me it doesn't seem like you mind."

He chuckled softly, trying to lighten the mood a little bit. "Or if you like we can lay down on the blanket and one of us can lay on top of the other. Would that be more comfortable for you my love? Or would you rather stay like this?'

Ansem blushes. "Must you call me that now?" He grumbles. It was already pitiful enough that he was in this state. Luckily was just the two of them. But he continues to eat and drink.

The more stories, the more Ansem could picture this world that was the Exarch's world. Its places, its people, what they did, what they ate... It was so relatable, yet so foreign; either way, he was able to relax more due to it. Even every so often, scoffing here, chuckling there, snorting a bit... It was nice.

When Raha's voice started to get hoarse was when the elder finally spoke up. "I am okay now...we can stop..." Slowly, he opened his eyes and sighed. "There was a reason I did not want to talk about the future with the Apprentices, why I did not want to be known by our people more than needed..." He frowns. "If I dropped my guard...allowed myself to be honest... it would only worry them more. I do not want them to tie themselves down... I want them to enjoy life, to have a normal life when able... I won't stop them from doing what they do, but...sometimes I wonder if they want more, more to life, and they're only doing all this out of guilt and maybe feeling that's all they are good for when that is far from the truth... It is not that I do not want to help...I just... do not want to make things worse... I do not want to be the proof of what happened, a constant memory of what they had gone through and why... I want to bring smiles...not sadness and pain..."

"If you would rather I didn't then I won't but I do want you to know how well you're doing for me. You told me what you needed from me and are accepting it when I give it to you. That's worthy of praise." The Exarch said with a gentle smile. "Don't be ashamed of doing well for me. Just relax and let me care for you."

He was glad when he heard those small sounds since it meant his mate was listening and focused on the present rather than the past as he suspected had happened.

"Are you sure? I can keep going after I drink some juice." He protested before coughing and reaching for the juice to ease his sore throat. It helped and along with a subtle healing spell his voice was back to normal.

"As much as you fear hurting them it may be for the best to simply talk to them. To ask their thoughts and feelings on the matter in a safe space where you can all be honest with each other." He suggested softly while rubbing his mate's back soothingly. "I think they might have similar concerns. I've been watching you all dance around each other for some time now, each of you trying to navigate your new dynamic in the dark while also pretending that nothing has changed."

"I didn't mention it sooner because it didn't feel like it was my place to do so but... but it really doesn't seem healthy for any of you." He finished with a worried frown.

He did not want to eat, feeling tired and nauseated. But he also didn't want to waste the food the other made for him. Being larger had its charms, and at times it didn't, but he didn't mind; this was enough for him. To have his senses be busy over his tired mind.

Listening, he says nothing; instead, he tries his best to focus on his surroundings. Having the food pressed against his lips, he slowly takes it and chews. It was sweet and nutty... The cream of the peanut butter...the sticky freshness of the jelly... the fluffy doughiness of the bread... Chilidh, as it was, he enjoyed it...it brought back nice memories... Happy memories...

Hearing about the fruit and his ice-cream, he smiles gently. He was sure many would enjoy it. The children he knew seemed to... It had a perfect balance of flavor... When the child Miqo'te was mentioned, he frowned in thought. Another child interested in alchemy... How interesting... that was not common, but he was slightly happy to have another child interested in such things.

After eating for a while, he closed his eyes and rested there for a bit longer, enjoying the stories...the lives of so many people...it was normal...normal everyday things... it was good to know people in such extreme conditions can still enjoy life in what ways they could... It was comforting to listen to something so normal, mundane, and simple...

"Good boy. Just take small bites. There's no rush. We have all the time we need." The Exarch praised gently as he fed it mate the sandwich before offering small pieces of fruit and sips of the juice. He wasn't worried about eating himself right now since there would be time for that later.

"I'm actually expecting you to react to Riqi-Tio the same way I reacted to Mickey that first time. When you see her, you'll understand why." He commented with a smirk since he was sure that his mate's gaze would zero in on the large ears all young Miqo'te and Mystels had. "But I'll let the reason why be a surprise."

He then continued to talk about ordinary moments, dancing around any mention of battles and conflict to focus on the small happy moments his people were able to have. He even recounted his first meeting with Feo Ul were he chased the pixie around the Crystarium for bells, much to the amusement of his people although they had been the ones to ask for his help in handling the trouble causing pixie.

He would keep going until either his voice began to give out or his mate seemed to be in a better place, whichever came first and even if it was the first he'd still try to keep going by drinking some of the juice or using a healing spell.

He wanted to do something, something to stop this pain and storm of emotions. He wanted to grab his heart, dig his nails in, or even dig them into his chest. But it was not that simple; it never was.

Tears stream down his face. Neither did he. He didn't move as the other moved, adjusting, and soon finding himself in the other's chest once more. Taking in a deep breath, he let out a shudder; even now, in all this mess, Raha smelled good. Smelled like home...

Moving, he grabbed Raha's back and clung to him, even digging his dull nails into the clothes as he sobbed. He rarely cried; when was the last time he cried? He shed a tear in the World that Never Was, but before that? He couldn't quite remember...When was he banished? When he realized what just happened to him? After he screamed and yelled for who knows how long? When was it? He couldn't even remember...

He confessed...that's what he remembers... he confessed... Confessed to most of his sins, his transgressions... and why he kept declining any form of compliment and appraisal, or even his Apprentices and their desire to stay... He confessed... After a while, he goes quiet as he rests against his Nuhn's chest; his hands at that point have long since fallen to his side... He was conflicted. Parts of him desired to return to the Realm of Darkness, to forget everything, to forget what he did, who he was, and more...While parts of him wanted this...to be in Raha's arms. He can still hear their voices...and when he closes his eyes... see their faces...

"...Raha...talk to me...tell me about your world...or even...what you like about this one..." Ansem goes quiet for a moment before asking nervously. "...Also...while you do... can you feed me... I feel suddenly exhausted..." His mind...it was numb...a tad sore...

"That's it. Hold me as tight as you need. I'm not going anywhere." The Exarch said softly as he wrapped himself around his mate as much as he could. Times like this he really did wish he wasn't so much smaller.

"I hear you love. Just focus on my voice. I'm going to change position a bit so I can feed you. Just stay relaxed against my chest. You don't need to do anything right now." He said, having a guess at the reason behind the request. He adjusted their position then used a levitation spell to move the food close enough that he could reach it. "Here. I made you a peanut butter and jelly sandwich just as you requested. I used that red jelly that everyone seems to love."

He gently pressed the corner of the sandwich to his mate's lips while starting to speak again. "I think you would like the fruits we have on the First. We don't have anything like your beloved ice cream but I'm sure that if we give the recipe to the Crystarium's culinarians they will be able to come up with something similar for you. I'm sure the children will love it as well. I'm looking forward to you meeting all the children. I'm especially looking forward to you meeting Riqi-Tio. She's a young Mystel child. That's what the First call Miqo'te so she's the same race as me although she doesn't know it. She wants to be an alchemist to help people."

He was mostly just rambling but at the moment that seemed to be what his mate needed. So he kept going, talking about the different children and their antics. Occasionally he had to correct himself since the child he was talking about had since grown into an adult. It just went to prove that he really didn't forget anything and that he spent a great deal of time with his people.
