indie sapphic multi-muse roleplay blog, featuring canon and original characters from various movies, shows, and video games — written by Lexie ( she/her, 30+)
LOW TO MEDIUM ACTIVITY. I roleplay at my own pace - if this bothers you, this may not be the blog for you! I enjoy writing all of my characters, but each muse has a varying level of activity, and I tend to bounce around based on my current interests. All of my muses have various beliefs, morals, and personalities, and this blog may contain mature themes, including but not limited to: addiction, sexual content, trauma, violence, and war.
As above, this blog is sapphic-oriented: all of my muses are women, and they are all lesbians or bisexuals. This is important to me and will not be changing.
I write on this blog most of the time, but you can also find me @idolbound
Mun and Muse information can be accessed on the blog itself; however, for mobile users, I have both a brief summary of my Rules, as well as a Muse List below the cut.
Rules:
Be polite / practice common rp etiquette
I only roleplay with MUTUAL FOLLOWERS; I follow/block at my discretion
If you want to break mutuals, please hardblock me. Softblocking just makes it confusing.
I track the #afraidofchange tag; but please also @ me
Triggers are tagged as TRIGGER TW. Message me to tag things
Please tag: suicide and self harm
There is NSFW content on this blog. I do my best to tag, but sometimes I forget. I will not ship with anyone under 18. I don't limit ships per muse, but I do limit ships to one portrayal of a muse (e.g. I only ship my Miranda Lawson with one Shepard).
Accessibility > '~Aesthetics~': I am near-sighted and have astigmatism. If your formatting is too difficult to read, I will ask that you adjust your replies to me. If you won't accommodate your RP partners so that they can read your posts, I'll unfollow.

also I tried out a slightly different mullet on Vitoria with her natural colour just for fun and god, I've never had another player char of mine serve so much face, like okay girl, you should've found a modelling agent instead of working for Arasaka
see Shepard - even in the canonical ME universe with the reaper war - is honestly The Girlfriend of All Time™. Loyal, honest, sweet, caring, protective. Doesn't skip leg day but *slaps her ass* this baby can fit so much PTSD and wartime trauma in it.
I always forget that I headcanoned Shepard has a VCH piercing until I'm metaphorically smacked in the face with it, but I also gave her cyberpunk!AU self nipple rings, and well. Well. 🥴
thinking about it more, Shepard would be well into her 30s, a veteran from the war and recovering from losing her leg and living in retirement until she starts to get that urge to do something about the shit she sees on the daily in the city, and puts her skills to use as a mercenary, taking on jobs that aren't about the money, but restoring a sense of justice (and oftentimes, doing shit for free too). I can see her having a good reputation in her Northside neighbourhood, protecting innocent people on the street, probably known to the NCPD as a helping hand when necessary (and doing more than the cops have or care about).
I'm thinking along the way with V gaining a reputation after The Heist and through Afterlife that Shepard's aware of who she is. I really do picture them meeting through the same job, or maybe Shepard reaches out to a fixer to get a helping hand with something that she can't just do herself and that's when they send V. The job gets done, but it's heavy - maybe personal to Shepard, maybe something that gets V thinking about her own countdown to death. V experiences an attack with the relic and Shepard doesn't know what's going on, so she brings V to her place until she recovers; V explains her predicament, how crazy it is - and Shepard relates with how she died and was brought back to life. Sat in silence, Shepard gets up after a bit, goes to her fridge and pulls out a bottle of whiskey from the back of it that's been in there for years - she's been sober since her forced retirement, saving it for a bad day, and offers it to V anyway.
One thing leads to another, as they always do. Shepard's safe, steady, kind - a rare thing in Night City. For a few hours, V lets herself forget.
Oh and I've been hammering out Shepard's Cyberpunk AU and connection to Vitoria but basically, tl;dr, Shepard is a retired veteran who lost her leg in the war but couldn't sit idle watching awful shit happen, so she put her skills to use as a mercenary, but often helps her neighbourhood out of the goodness of her heart and for her neighbours. For a particularly hefty job, she reached out to a Fixer who sent her Vitoria 'V' Vasquez to help.
The job was hard and disturbing, and near the end, V had a seizure. Uncertain of the cause, Shepard carried her back to her Northside apartment. When she came to, V felt bad for relying on a stranger who was meant to be paying her, and decided to allow herself to be vulnerable, telling Shepard about the relic and her predicament.
Feeling empathetic to a walking dead woman (having been on the other side and technically dead before Dr. Lawson brought her back from the beyond), Shepard gets a bottle of expensive whiskey from the back of her fridge - despite her own sobriety, she offers it to V. One thing leads to another, and the pair of them hook up that night.
Following that, they keep in touch, and often work together, forging a friendship through shared experiences. They hook up one more time while fully sober, but decide they vibe better as mercenaries and friends. In fact, it's V who introduces Panam and Shepard, who begin dating shortly thereafter - V gets involved with Judy, and the four of them have spent many a night out together as friends.
However, with V's condition worsening, it leads her to choose the deal with the proverbial devil... [spoilers below]
For the time she disappeared, Shepard refuses to give up hope that V will return, that she isn't dead, that she'll have found a solution. Judy leaves Night City, Panam stays close in the Badlands, and Shepard keeps working, and keeps hoping.
After the months spent under Arasaka's "care", V returns to Earth with only months to live - she heads to Monaco after finding out Judy has left and moved on, meeting up with Alex Xenakis until her illness becomes too much and she comes home to Night City under the care of her dear mother until her dying breath.
Shepard finds out a little too late and visits when Vitoria is not coherent enough to remember before her passing. It's something, in the grand scheme of things, but it's another loss that lives with Shepard for the rest of her life.

... Oh, what the hell ?? The absolute nothing burger of a reaction from the other woman almost gets on Jack's nerves. Almost. She kind of wanted to cause some chaos and see people get their panties in a twist over a fucking word. Sowing discord as always, very Jack.
But nooooo, Miranda is as calm and composed as ever. Jack's eyes narrow to slits as she looks at Miranda, trying to figure out why she's so unaffected, and why she responded as if Jack was trying to get her attention or something. That's the part that doesn't make any sense.
She straightens her back, just barely tilting her head. " ' Yes ', what ? Newsflash, cheerleader, I didn't call your name. I called you ... a cunt. " Maybe THAT would get a reaction—
While there had been some question about acquiring Jack during the process of putting together the team's dossiers, there had been no possible way for Miranda to gauge just how Jack would feel about Cerberus or her, as its proverbial cheerleader. Yet, after their initial confrontation, settled by the Commander, she has come to realize that working alongside Jack will require tact and a hell of a lot of patience.
Miranda's gaze sidelines towards Jack, face remaining utterly neutral and impervious to the younger woman's repeated attempt at insult. Her voice remains curt, but flat. Professional. "I assumed as such. Did you have anything else to say or are you merely seeking out my attention?"
Fuck, who knows why she's like this ?? Nobody knows why she wanted to say it. But she said it, and now she's waiting for someone to get all offended and clutch their pearls because she said the worst word ever—
A firm line remains between lips pressed together; only the subtle raise of one eyebrow is all Jack's sudden outburst earns her from Miranda at first, before a small sigh manages to escape. It takes more strength than she cares to admit NOT to roll her eyes and cause further issue - lest the Commander be required to intervene.
