He had a severe moment of startled indecision but at the last moment he reached out to catch her, having to practically fall to the ground himself to get low enough, one knee hitting the ground to get low enough.

In the nick of time, though it didn’t help that he stiffened a little at the contact making his knee throb a bit as it hit too hard. But at least he caught her.

Eve shrugged “to humans hauntings are really cool. It brings tourisim when its believable. Of course most of them are tricks of the mind, or people setting them up but whenever im bored i come here to mess with people. You could do it to. They have this belife that whenever a angry spirit is near the tempature drops!” Eve chuckled pulling him along. Her eyes were shinning, this was the kind of stuff she loved.

There was a couple who were sitting on a bench “Here watch this!” she cheered as she blew a kiss at them, a small blackish purple vapor escaped her lips and in a cloud made its way to them, it slowly took the shape of a man and “ran” passed the couple. The two jumped up “DID you see that!” she girl shrieked

It was pretty clear it fascinated him as well, and the idea that he could get in on this mischief? She didn't need to ask twice, "So, scaring people right? I could definitely enjoy this~" He said, lips curving into a devious smirk.

He used a small gust to at least keep him steady and landed lightly with her when they arrived. “Really? Why’s that?” He knew little about hauntings or the like so he was curious, he’d only heard very little about the Halloween Spirit and that was what Pitch had told him.

Eve sat quietly on the edge of the fireplace that she had lit herself. The flames gently licked her skin as she stared into them.

He didn't like that expression, damnit! But didn't she realize he had to calm it down to keep her from getting holed up by the Guardians for nothing? Still--that expression, he decided he didn't like to see that look, he didn't like seeing it at all. So forget the impossibilities, he was going to cut it down to a half an hour. "You'd be surprised--I'm not Jack Frost as you said, it could very likely go out of control without my aid--" He knew if Pitch was here he'd be glowering at his back for not doing as he'd promised. He'd have to compromise. "Give me an hour-- just to ease it up-" He wasn't sure he was ready for this, he never expected her to sympathize with him, maybe that's why Pitch knew he'd be the best advocate.

Everything had just flip-flopped in his world, and now he was suddenly a lot less spiteful of the girls company, though the touch still discerned him as it was foreign and unnatural to someone who'd never been touched at least--the memories of the touches of Jack Frost didn't count. The nick-name should have been harmless but he couldn't get over it.

"A warm front?" Eve asked "I can work with that! Summer owes me a favor that little" she trailed off. She stared at him, something was off, something different "I am going to call you D.J. okay? Your not Jack Frost so you need your own name, and I cant think of a full one right now, so im going to call you DJ!" she cheered and took a few steps toward him, she put a hand on his shoulder "You seem like your alone, but you don't have to be...I know what that one is like"

He was startled, awe-struck even for a moment at having been given a name. He recoiled a little at the touch but was still too bewildered to actually yank back. "You--I.....--D.J.?" His cheeks frosted over lightly, giving them a darker hue as the frostbite kicked in. And with just a nickname, she had completely rooted him to the spot. 'You're not Jack Frost, so you need your own name--I'm going to call you DJ!' Those words rang in his head, differently than the first time she had insisted he wasn't Jack Frost, this wasn't denying his existence, this was verifying it. And it sent him reeling.

He was silent for a long moment, bewildered even, why hadn't Pitch told him that? And it was strange, realizing he wasn't the only one just--created by someone. Sure he looked flesh and bones, but he was still just a very clever creation from nightmare sand and the likeness of Jack Frost, the "cold" to Pitch's dark. The side of Frost that was created but never manifested when the real Jack for a moment, just a moment, had considered Pitch's offer. Pitch had just been lucky enough to find him and build him into something real and tangible. And there he was, a product of someone else's imagination. Just like Eve. And it sent him reeling for a bit. He looked away, "I see..." was all he could conjure up to say for that, "Well--if you need, you can tell those Guardians this storm may last up to a week now, I cannot calm it now that it has started, there is no warm front to slow it down, I can only keep it contained." He didn't want to be there anymore, he didn't want to be around someone that he could sympathize with or whom could sympathize with him, to Hell with Pitch's orders for now, this was too much for his still fragile mental state to bear. He would have to wait to manipulate her when he was less prone to being swayed, he'd have to wait until he could be pulling the strings and not the other way around. He was too vulnerable right now, and as much as it disgusted him, he knew it.
