Jeremy Knox, you are very lucky not only because you will be dating Jean Moreau (which is already a real jackpot), but also because you already have a native speaker of the language you are learning.
Aaron and Neil have a stupid rule: âI will do nothing that he does or would doâ. Aaron likes strawberries - Neil will never even try them, out of principle. Neil would buy a notebook with this cover - Aaron won't even look at it, out of principle.
And then their bitching goes to a new level: âI will steal your habit.â Aaron likes to eat his breakfast with bread - Neil will performantly start to eat bread at the breakfast just so that Aaron would refuse. Neil prefers to walk on the left side of the street - Aaron would start doing the same so that Neil would notice and stop.
It ends up with them mixing their habits and preferences. (At some point this way they help each other to quit some of the bad habits.)
Aaron âI would burn the world down for you but my brother's idiot says the same thing so now I'm now sure whether it's such a good ideaâ Minyard.
If, because of his past, Andrew wore gloves as well as his armbands, when would he take them off for the first time?
The fact that all the creative names (Alex, Stefan, Chris, etc.) were chosen by Mary, and Neil just decided, âMy name is Nathaniel. I hate my father, so there is no 'Nathan'. That leaves the 'Niel'. Then 'Neil' it is. Perfect!â.
Andrew Joseph Minyard - a poet, who was forced to become a soldier.
Love the duality of Alison x Seth couple.
On the one hand, we have Seth, a lucky man, who met a hot, rich, cool blonde who for some reason still wanted him, despite all his flaws, questionable past and shitty temper.
On the other hand, we have Alison, who lost her lover to an overdose caused by the mafia (which they had nothing to do with), and didn't even have time to properly mourn him.
It just hit me and now I'm curious whether I'm the only one:
If I say Jeremy Knox and Nikolai Lantsov
Alison's second language (apart from money) is Italian because her grandparents are Italian.
No explanation here, I just know it.
At some point in their lives Andrew, Aaron and Alison have a chat group âI'm a natural blonde, bitchâ (and its second name is âAAA!â).
Touch starved Neil, who finally realized that he needs and likes hugs and physical contact in general.
Matt, who likes to use Neil as a teddy bear for hugs or a koala that you just wrap around your shoulders and walk around with it.
Kevin is dating somebody who doesn't know a lot about exy (all that they know is what Kevin tells them, but they still forget it; but they try). However, they're absolutely brilliant in history, so Kevin forgives them everything.
Partner: I read such an article today about the law structure in Phoenicia. By the way, how was your lacrosse practice?
Kevin, without batting an eye: Exy.
Partner: Oh, yes, sorry. Exy practice.
Kevin: It was fine. Tell me about the article.
Neil: The problem is, coach, I'm multilingual therefore sometimes I can confuse words.
Wymack: Really?
Neil: Yes.
Wymack: So you âconfused the wordsâ when you called the reporter a bastard?
Neil, with a straight face: Yes.
Wymack: And when during the interview you said that the team we were going to play with could go and fuck themselves?
Neil: Indeed.
Wymack: And how did you confuse âI'm a quiet kid who won't cause you a lot of problemsâ with âI never shut up and will drag you directly into mafia businessâ? Especially considering that âmafiaâ is more or less an international word?
Neil, shrugging: Absolutely accidentally, coach.
Wymack: ĂsighsĂ Okay.
What if when Neil gets comfortable with his life he starts using British vocabulary but still with an American accent?
Andrew Minyard's train of thought when he was offered a place at the Foxes:
âWait, so you're suggesting that I run around the field and fight for a stupid ball like an idiot? No. Oh, and I'm doing all this in an orange T-shirt? A double "no". Look at me. Do I look like an idiot? Look at my total black. Does it look like it can be replaced with orange? Okay, I'll be the goalkeeper. It's better to stand in white and do nothing than run around in orange like a complete idiot. But it's still stupid."
Foxes, who need to translate something, come to Neil asking for his help.
Neil, who doesn't know the language they're asking about but confidently pretends like he does.
For example:
Nicky: Hey, Neil! Do you know Chinese?
Neil, who does NOT know Chinese: Yes.
Nicky: Can you please translate it?
Neil: Yeah, sure, what's that?
Nicky: I don't know, I received this letter today.
Neil, who sees hieroglyphs for the second time in his life: It says that you won the lottery in a shop but you can receive the winning money only if you come there wearing a cactus costume.
Nicky: Really?
Neil, continues lying: That's what it says.
Nicky: Okay, thanks.
Neil: No problem.
