As we all know 9-1-1 Nashville is getting a Season 2 and Ryan Hart never got an NDE and him and Samantha were relatively untouched what if in season 2 Samantha Dies either due to Cancer or during childbirth or she dies during the opening emergency and that causes her to loose the baby
This in turn causes Ryan to spiral mentally and become a little careless with his life especially on calls and he has a NDE and the new detective character played by Ryan Phillipe saves his life and he takes him to the grief group hosted by Nick Turner and eventually Ryan Discovers he’s had some repressed truama as he’s apart of the lgbtq community and he’s hid it because of Nashville is typically apart of Tennessee which is a red state and he dosen’t want to disappoint his family.
Eventually Ryan Phillipe’s character helps him through his grief and they fall in love and adopt children
(I ship Buck and Ryan hart/BuckHart but i know that will never be cannon so i will take ryan being gay w any man over him being w toxic samantha hart anyday)
