Harley waited for the door to open, smiling softly when it did. “Hey, I didn’t want to bother you. Can I come in for a minute?” She asked the person with an hopeful look.
Jakobi hadn’t been expecting anyone, and when he opened the door to see Harley, he was immediately sure that something was wrong. He simply nodded and stepped to the side, allowing her to enter his place. “Lucky for you, I just opening a jumbo sized bag of Cheetos and put on a new record I picked up today. Perfect combination for getting that weird look off of your face, right?”
“And yet, here you are, about to make yourself sick,” Hanna laughed, amused by the entire situation as she leaned back in her seat, taking in the numerous boxes of fries and gave him a skeptical look. “You sure about this? Will you be able to look at yourself the same if you do this?”
“I’ve never been more sure about anything in my life.” Jakobi kept a smile plastered on his face in between the time he took to slowly start eating the first box of fries. “Self-image is unimportant. It’s all about public perception when it comes to how much you can eat in stupid amounts of time. Anyway...you want a box?”
“And yet, here you are, about to make yourself sick,” Hanna laughed, amused by the entire situation as she leaned back in her seat, taking in the numerous boxes of fries and gave him a skeptical look. “You sure about this? Will you be able to look at yourself the same if you do this?”
“I’ll have a higher regard for myself after this. The question is will you still look at me the same after this. You know, having met me an hour ago and all.”
“Oh, I don’t mind eating at Wendy’s at all, just not their fries. I need to have McDonalds fries, with McDonald’s barbecue sauce.” Teagan had resigned to the fact that she was a little odd, and picky when it came to food, but it wasn’t a big deal. She just smiled about it. “Batman I’ll give you, only because Ben Affleck didn’t actually suck in the role. As for Cap, or Iron Man…I’m still on the fence.”
“I love me some Wendy’s fries...but you really can’t put me in front of McDonald’s fries and honey. It’s a bad situation.” The thought of food was making him incredibly hungry, but instead of paying attention to it, he focused his attention on the woman. “Michael Keaton is forever my favourite Batman. Honestly, I didn’t even end up seeing it because I heard too many bad things about it. Alright, alright, that’s fair.”
“Ah, sorry for being rude - I’m Jakobi.”
“Ah, who can resist that? Usually get everyone trying to crowd into the frame and say hi and ask about every detail of your life in two seconds, right?” Adrian smiled, shaking his head, “Nah, man, home is home, no matter how you slice it or how you feel about it. You always remember where you come from. Seven? Have you gone back since? And, nah, about a year actually, give or take. From Boston, originally.”
“The last one lasted about two hours...had to fake a date just to get out of it, which was an even bigger mistake because of course she kept me on forth another fifteen minutes just to question me about it.” Jakobi let out a small laugh and shook his head at the thought of his mother’s interrogation of something that didn’t even exist. “Ah, yeah - except interestingly enough home followed me here in human form - or apparently I followed home here. Haven’t been back yet, but hopefully soon. My job kind of keeps me here as of now. Boston to Nashville...that’s a big change. What brought you here? And if you really want to list off the best food places there for when I visit, I wouldn’t say no.”

Leah: I suggest you remain on your best behavior at all times then.
Leah: Fancy then swimming... can't wait ;)
Jakob: I don't know how to do that. Plus we both know my best behavior isn't good behavior anyway.
Jakob: I don't trust wink faces coming from you.
Text to Leah
Leah: You just threatened to kill me...
Leah: Also, I don't own a track suit.
Jakob: I've gotta do what I've gotta do. Just don't get me deported.
Jakob: Joking about the track suit. Dress fancy, but bring something to go swimming in.
Text to Leah
Leah: Special hm? You'll need to let me know about dress code. Ice cream instead of cake? What are you working on?
Jakob: If I tell you I need to kill you and if I do that we can't go on our date. And full track suits.
Text to Leah
Leah: I guess. Depends on how much planning you need. I don't know.
Jakob: It's a special date, so special planning. SO MUCH PLANNING. So much planning I need ice cream.
Text to Leah
Leah: Planning? What are you planning?
Leah: And yes, it's fine by the way.
Jakob: Well we're going on a date. Doesn't that take planning?
Text to Leah
Leah: Guess it depends on why...
Jakob: Jeopardy Marathon
Jakob: JK because I forgot these things take planning.
Text to Leah
Jakob: Will you hit me with something if I postpone our date?
“C’mon now,” Hanna laughed, shaking her head at the other, “that’s a lot of talk– I want to see the money.” The brunette grinned, nodding at them with a bright expression on her face as she waited, “I won’t believe you can do it until you actually do.”
“When you’re a guy who looks like me, all you’ve got is talk. I’ve got the money to pay you if I don’t do it, but I think deep down you know I’m going to do it. It’s not that much to eat, if you really think about it.” Jakobi really wasn’t sure how his health had been okay lately, especially with the amount of junk he ate. As he stared down the tray of ten boxes of fries spread out between them, he simply shrugged before bringing a fry to his mouth. “Alright...got your timer ready? Four minutes.”
