Eastern Long-Necked Turtle: These turtles with a rather literal name can be found throughout Australia. Their remarkable necks can reach the same length as their shells, or around 10 inches. (Source)
Remember how Teen Titans had a lesson about Racism without blatantly bringing Cyborg’s Race into it?
No I really like the fact that he was like “Girl I’m half a robot.” instead of being like “Honey I’m black and humans are racist as shit” but like we the audience understand that Cyborg’s black and is in this scene thinking “Oh so he basically called you the space version of the n-word. Shitty bastard.” And I love how you can see how totally he relates to what she’s feeling in the way he’s acting. Like this episode was golden. I miss this show.
Had batman on the brain. Decided to redo a piece that I had done in my sketchbook like a year ago. Batman ain’t some hardened clint eastwood guy, he’s a psychological mess who’s basically made more mistakes than he’d like to admit…
The only two important things in life are real love and being at peace with yourself.

Time Slice Photography by Richard Silver
New York photographer Richard Silver photographs iconic buildings around the world over the course of a sunset. A technique he calls time slicing, he tells Dezeen:
“The idea behind the Time Slice project was to photograph iconic buildings over the course of a sunset, and assemble them to capture the changing light from day to night in a single image.”
To create the desired effect, Silver captures 60 identical framed shots in one evening. What is revealed is a beautiful transition in both the landscape and architecture between the lines and shadows of a building. As the sunset becomes warmer and darker, the building’s stones appear more dramatic and stunning.
Silver’s Time Slice photography series features Herzog & de Meuron’s National Stadium in Beijing, the Marina Bay Sands hotel in Singapore by Moshe Safdie, and Istanbul’s Hagia Sophia basilica.
Silver’s main goal is to compose a time slice of every city he visits. He is most excited about photographing the Eiffel Tower, which he believes will accentuate the beauty of the series.
