The room smells of breakfast before you even open your eyes. It invades your nostrils and makes a path for the staleness of a tongue to become present in your mouth. The room door creaks open slowly, the sharp heat of the sun hitting the skin of your face. Its warmth invades the air and makes you hot- you want to kick the cover tucked between your legs away from you but the creaking of the wood underneath leather shoes deters you from moving an inch. You could bear momentary discomfort for this.
âLoveâŚcome now, breakfast is ready..â The voice comes with a deep, lilting sensation carried on the wind and into your ears. It makes your chest swell with warmth and you have to fight the smile slowly crawling up your lips. He chuckles, a light sound emitting from the throat as he steps further into the room, closer to you. The sharp heat of the light of day disappears- replaced by the soft pressure and cool warmth of a hand placed against your cheek. It moves up to your forehead before being replaced by a chaste kiss. A light, finicky thing that makes you open your eyes and mirror the face in front of you. A smile, ear to ear.

Hey friends! I've got a new little hobby: bespoke broadcasts! Miss Saturday morning cartoons? I've got the hookup! Each cutietv broadcast includes 3 episodes of nostalgic tv, including bumpers, channel skits, and commercials! Each episode has one commercial break with 2 nostalgic commercials. Perfect for small time, watching with friends, or playing in the background. The first broadcast: batman marathon! Up for free on my Google drive. Enjoy!!
If you follow my other account you know that I recently bought a vintage batman coloring book. Someone suggested I scan it, but lo and behold, it's already scanned!! This website has a few sample pages like the ones above, and you can buy the ebook of all the pages for $3! I will still scan them and put them in a Google drive to offer for free, but these are much higher quality scans! Enjoy!
woahh, how do you make such cool looking icons? :0
I use photopea! @littletism put me onto it lol, it's basically a free version of photoshop in your browser! I use a lot of clipping layers. Lmk if you want a quick tutorial!!
Gonna babble about the versions of Baman characters that exist in my beautiful mind... very ooc so don't read if that bothers you. Based on the animated series bc that's what I'm watching and also like barely agere related lol
If given the choice, Alfred would identify as a mother rather than a father. I don't know why. I think it's because Dick refers to him as his mom a few times in the comics and gives him Mother's Day cards. I think that would feel good for him in a way he can't put his finger on. He's not necessarily a woman, but he is a mom... it doesn't make sense and it doesn't have to. He would also say he's a mother of two, Bruce and Dick, rather than a father and a grandfather.
I'm a fan of Bruce and Dick's dynamic being almost brotherly. Like they can't quite get to a place where Dick sees Bruce as his dad. They're a little too close in age (I like to think they're about 10-15 years apart) plus the whole ward thing makes things a little messy. But they're very content in their dynamic, it doesn't bother Bruce that he's not necessarily Dick's parent. He's like a much older brother - you look up to them as an adult in your life, but they're not necessarily the authority.
ficlet ⢠Regressor Harvey Dent, Caregiver Victor Fries
So I ended up writing the one with the least votes because it was already halfway done, lol. I prommy I have a Harley and Ivy one in the works though! For now, enjoy my fave rare team up.
It was a bad day in Arkham asylum. Not that any day was particularly good, but this day was one of the worst. February 2nd. 2/2. The day Harvey Dentâs life changed forever. Harvey was not a person you wanted to wake up on the wrong side of the bed. He was grouchy, quick tempered, and loud about it. Today he was in rare form.
âDoes anyone in this god-forsaken place know how to make real food?!â He yelled, and the sea of inmates expertly parted as he threw his food across the room. They were unperturbed, as most of them had been here for at least three 2/2s.
âHarvey, please, control yourself,â Penguin sighed from across the table.Â
Harveyâs fiery glare found its mark on the bird, who shriveled under it. The Riddler was quick to come to his defense.
âWhat is shorter than a yard stick but holds grown adults hostage?â
âNot in the mood, Eddie.â
âA toddler. Now, will you stop acting like one?â
A loud crash rang through the cafeteria as Harvey tackled Ed to the ground.
âThis is what happens when you antagonize him!â Oswald chided over the tussle.
âI wasnât antagonizing anyone - guard!â
A hulking guard picked Harvey up by the back of his uniform.
âDent got in another fight,â he said to his radio, âtake him to the cold wing?â
âAffirmative,â crackled through the speaker.
Harvey was dragged out of the cafeteria and through the dusty corridors of Arkham. Harvey knew very well where he was going. The floor he was being dragged across became colder and colder as they traveled. Soon enough, Harvey could see his breath. Clang. He was thrown into a cell, much like his own, but about 50 degrees colder. In it was a heavy blanket - and nothing else.
âYou rat bastard! Get me outta here this instant!â Two Face growled as the door was closed.
He kicked and yelled until his voice was horse and his legs were sore. Next door, there was a rustling.
âHarveyâŚâ A rumbling voice called.Â
âRise and shine, Jack Frost, youâve got company.â
Harvey could hear the deep sigh from the cell next to him.Â
âDent. Another fight?â
âYeah. The pleasure of your company is the next best thing to solitary confinement.â
A dark chuckle.
âWhat was it about this time?â Victor asked.
âPff,â Harvey scoffed, âEddie accused me of acting like a toddler.â
Victor barked out a laugh.
âWhat's so funny?â Harvey snapped.
âWell, you do have a certain boyish temperament.â
âYou callinâ me a kid?â
âGenerously. It would be more accurate to say Edward was right, for once.â
Harvey growled.
âSee? Just another one of your temper tantrums.â
âWhy I oughta - you donât know nothinâ about- I- I-â
Harvey sighed.
Victor heard him slump down against the wall, defeated.
âI really am a kid, arenât I?â
The rough voice had disappeared, replaced by a smoother one, small and confused. Something had switched. Big Bad Harv had retreated.
â... there are worse things to be,â Victor offered.
Harvey hummed in agreement, shrugging.
âI have a proposal for you,â
âA break out?â Two face made a brief return,
âNot tonight,â Victor chuckled.
âOhâŚâ
âAn experiment,â Victor said. Harvey perked up in intrigue.
âOh?â
âLetâs see if Edwardâs hypothesis holds any water.â
Harvey slumped again, scoffing.
âNo need to taunt me, Fries. Itâs not like I could feel any worse.â
âThat is my point,â
âCare to enlighten me?â
âYouâve⌠had a long, hard day Harvey.â
âYou said it.â
âI think, perhaps⌠youâre tired.â
Harvey said nothing.
âYou just need to get some rest, thatâs all.â
â...alright, Iâll buy that for a dollar. What do you want me to do?â
âTake that blanket, make sure youâre wrapped up.â
âIâm already there, trust me.â
âNow lay down.â
Victor could hear the shuffling.Â
âNow, just⌠relax. Close your eyes.â
There was a moment of silence, barely a minute.
âThis isnât working for me, Victor.â
âI have another idea.â
âIâll take whatever youâve got, doc,â Harveyâs voice was weak.
Victor sighed.
âOnce upon a time, there was a little girl named Clara.â
He expected a laugh, honestly. A jeer. A snarl. But nothing came. Just silence - contemplative, listening, silence.
âShe had a mysterious uncle, who came baring giftsâŚâ
Victor continued his story, the Nutcracker. As he recounted it, he pictured his wife on the stage. She always made a lovely Sugar Plum Fairy. Harvey, for once, didnât talk but listened. Victor could hear his steady breath, slowing down until it was calm. He finished his story, and looked at Harveyâs reflection in the glass cell across the way. He lay sleeping, wrapped in the blanket.
