If you were actually 23 when this song came out you are now 36 and closer to 40 than 30. This Blink 182 hit came out 13 years ago. That means 13 year old X Factor star Carly Rose Sonenclar wasn't even born yet. So don't expect her to cover that song anytime soon. Unless, its CLASSIC rock week. "Nobody likes you when your 23..." but they like you even less when you're 40.

Dear kids, this is a CD booklet. Back in my day this is how we looked up the lyrics for our favorite song. If the artist decided not to print the lyrics you were out of luck and had to just listen over and over as you slowly transcribed them. Why would anyone waste their time doing that when they could simply googl...oh right, the Internet wasn't around back then. Saying that out loud just killed a piece of me. OLD!

Speaking of awesome rap verses (that you know all the lyrics to), TLC's crazysexycool album dropped in 1994 bringing with it the hit single "Waterfalls". So lets see, carry the one...yep that would be 18 years ago. If that fact alone doesn't make you feel old, it has been 10 years since Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes died. "I seen a rainbow yesterday..."

"Gangsta's Paradise" became the hit rap everyone was trying to memorize in 1995. According to my calculations that was SEVENTEEN years ago! So when they used the song in the 2011 Green Hornet movie all kids high school age and under thought it was a new song. Why? Oh right, cuz they weren't even born when it first came out. But I bet you still know all the words don't you? You are old, like, Seth Rogen old. Yuck...

Does this photo mean anything to you? Of course it does, you’re old. Im sure you lost hours of your life adjusting the tracking on your VCR. You know who didn’t? Anyone under the age of 25. By the time they were born, VCRs had this cutting edge technology built in called auto tracking. That and the majority of their life they used DVD players.

“My So Called Life” began its 19 episode run in 1994. While you were ugly crying with Angela Chase because you just had so much teen angst…this year’s college freshmen were busy being birthed!!! Oh and by the way, Friends, ER, and The Secret World of Alex Mack also debuted on television in 94, AKA EIGHTEEN YEARS AGO when college freshmen weren’t even born! :(
