Her mission was simple. Solve the issue in local villages, find the creature behind such disaster, capture and or defeat it, and then finally go home. It was simple, but it was harder than usual for she had limited knowledge on what she was dealing with. Weaknesses were hardly written in books or on the internet. She knew of superstitions to ward the demon off, and something so silly yet specific that it apparently could trap its soul. Besides that she would have to treat the being as if she was facing a rogue DRYAD or HULDRA – by destroying its TREE.

Her next issue now was, what tree could it be? No one at the village provided proper answers. And surely she could not go damaging every tree that looked at her funny – that would be incredibly stupid and destroy the ecosystem around her.

She must have been really out of it in her thoughts because she jumped when a voice–unfamiliar mind you–spoke up behind her. Out of all the things, Kanaya just did not expect anything like that she whirled around to the stranger. When had – how did she – “ What? “

Giggling a bit this one would be fun one, right now they were quite a distance way from her home dwelling thus she was a little bit relaxed. Though the closer they would get the more visually irritated she would seem to get and the more likely she would be to lash out.

“Well ‘rent you jumpy?” Her voice was like that of a siren, coy and misleading. switching her weight on her feet rocking back and forth. Just as she had appeared there she was gone, her voice was the only thing to tell where she was.
