Thanks for that post on COH2. Never been to a convention so all the little tidbits help. Do you have to pay in cash at the con or could you use your credit card? Do you know if some tumblr fandom people are planning a meet up or something? Thanks :)

I know that Rogue is accepting card payments this year but they only have one machine (from what I hear) so that means waiting a long time in that particular queue. I suggest you get some cash out beforehand, preferably outside the hotel (the ATM there charges you a fee for each withdrawal and runs out of money quite quickly). You will have ATMs at the airport/train station and also around the Con area towards the NEC center. Also, if you have a card from outside the UK, those tend to take a tiny bit more time to process in my experience. I would advise you to get a rough idea of how much you intend to spend and have it in cash. If something else comes up, then you can withdraw some more.

Some members of the fandom are planning to meet up!! We don’t have anything official but we might go out for cocktails and dinner on Saturday night. You can look for me on Twitter where I spend most of my time and I’ll get you the details when I have them. I also wanted to take a group photo with all the fans willing to do that. The time and place hasn’t been set yet because it’ll depend on the con schedule but I’ll broadcast the details as soon as I have them.
