Kurt Cobain fun fact of the day

 a lot has been made of Kurt lifting the riff of  ‘Come as You Are’ from Killing Joke’s “eighties”   and it is similar !

and Killing Joke did complain about it. 

nothing was done, no lawsuits….

because “eighties”  sounds JUST LIKE . the Damned “  Life goes on”.

they must have gotten over it, as they invited Dave to play on their 2003 album
