Okay so I remade and I'm logging off this account on my mobile :( I refollowed everyone I follow here and will occasionally look at the tag agitatedpotoo if anyone wants my new url, I don't wish to post it publicly as I'm using this as kind of a new start, not just a blog transfer.

Stupid question but I'm still in the learning phase, pre purchase. The humid hide: does it go on the hot side of the enclosure, or the cool side of the enclosure? And if it goes on the hot side, do i need a second hide over there that isn't humid? Right now I'm planning 3 hides: hot, cool, a long one in the middle.

Definitely not a stupid question! I asked the same question myself when I started out

As far as I know it doesn’t really matter, so long as it’s a humid hide it can be anywhere in the cage. So long as it is able to keep up the humidity in the hide it can be anywhere (personally I find my snakes prefer it on the warm side, but that may just be their preference)

Typically I have a hot hide, cool hide, and put the human hide either side so they can choose what they want without being ‘forced’ into using a humid hide if they don’t want to :)
