Now I remember why my young self liked this story so much. I don't care much for philosophical books with narratives of how one should live a life, meticulously explaining every fiber and detail that only proves the narrator's grasp of language than the meaning of sentiment. This book reminds me how I like simplicity with a touch of youthful epiphany in anything I read from then on. My happiness right now is the simple fact that I got my hands on this book again. :)

They're heeeere! 1912 and 1928: most likely the oldest books I have so far. Sender was so sweet to include a birthday card and antique pages of short stories dated exactly 116 years before I was born!
