idk why but im listening to villain vibe songs and adding kind of a lot of them to lucy's playlist and im starting to think he may just be the villain helping the heroes against the bigger bad and it makes sense in his narrative
hes technically a big name in a gigantic criminal circle but that crime circle isnt necessarily evil. just like,, smuggling and shit
but he has a lot of villainous traits
i meant for him to be chaotic neutral but hes borderline evil
if you want to know how selfindulgent this project is, tbere was a character who was supposed to break up with their first partner and end up with someone else, and go from good to more neutral/evil, but bc they had socmuch chemistry with the first partner, i made them a twin sibling

so i have come upon the realization that i have three sugar babies in my current project. its not a lot considering it plays in a wholeass solar system with aliens and not all characters are connected (unless you count the whole "im connected to obama through 20 people" thing) but its still weird that about 10% of my main cast is sugar babies.

and then the slow realization hit me that lucien and his partner???? literally the version of persephone and hades where persephone walks into the underworld rather than be kidnapped

i just wrote lucien breaking up with his partner of 60 years (its temporary probably) and why does it hurt
there was no possible way he would have stayed after getting that angry and p much losing his sister due to his partner's mistake but it hurts.
like i get that some writers prefer outlines but if i had had this in an outline i would have made myself not break them up, even if its just temporary, and it wouldnt have flowed this well
lucien's weird because his partner is like. borderline evil. and everytime i remember that fact im like shit,, should they break up??? is this healthy???.
and then i remember lucy's even more of an ass, just with a soft spot for good side characters, and even characters that arent always kind can have nuanced personalities
