My collaboration with @kotbonkers for my single #Naked 🌹🌹

Italian Nights Florence is a beautiful place, I was there for just under a week and experienced the highs of incredible food, rich art and beautiful stories told by local eyes and lows of touristy cons and blatant racism. The two parallels stretched my experience from anger to love and back again in moments, honestly I wouldn't have changed it for the world. Not only did I learn a lot about the country and history, I learnt a lot about myself and perspective. No matter where you go you must carry peace and fun in your steps. It's not a place that makes a home, it's the heart that wishes to settle.☺️ (at Florence, Italy)

Monday Club. Yesterday I was given an expressionless thumbs up by a heavily scarred stranger, he saw I was weary and done no more than go straight for the small pocket on his Nike pouch. He gave me this laminate message I'll always treasure. Sometimes life's chaos, not fair and can shit on your chest as you wake up and you instantly think, "why...". I try not to compare suffering or make people feel bad but to appreciate ones life is my message. I imagined the days he and others clawed at his face in frustration and misunderstanding. The voice inside his head chanting "no body cares, no body cares", they judge his scars and forget behind his eyes lays a beating heart that wants to love and be loved. I watched him walk around for awhile greeting people with conversation, innocence and the truth of who he is shattering instant barriers with a simple plastic message. An honest Legend. The miracle of life is extraordinary, the power of the human heart astounds me every time.

The Twins (1940 - 1950) - My grandfather (on the left) told me this was a black and white picture for years, it was hand painted to get a grasp of colour back then. After being evacuated to Reading no more than 6 years of age my grandad and his brother had just returned to their family in South London when this picture was taken. He told me of the long innocent summers in open meadows of Reading where he and his brother were teased for being from the "slum". Though he tells me these stories over and over again, the simple lifestyle he lived and still lives inspires me today.
