aaron owes elias magnuson his life
aaron was born and raised in hawaii
his parents died when he was young and he was in and out of foster care and boys homes
he hated them all and would often run away and spent more time living on the streets than anywhere else
he stole to survive - waiting for the day he would turn eighteen and be able to support himself
he told himself that he would go straight when he able, but the truth was that he didn’t even know how to do that and to this day, he wonders what would have happened to him if elias hadn’t come along
one day he stole from elias himself
he was able to snatch his wallet without even elias’s security noticing what he’d done
he got such a big haul from him that he kept a lookout for him whenever he came to the mainland
eventually he was caught but elias decided not to press charges when he saw that aaron was just a kid
instead, he offered him a job
he paid for him to finish his education and then he went through security training and when he was 21 years old, he came to work for elias
had noooo idea how bad his life was and the kind of life he was heading for b/f elias showed up and guided him
never really had a father figure and tbh elias was the closest thing he ever had to it

it’s funny b/c he exchanged his life of crime of another life of crime??????
but for the first time in his life he wasn’t alone
would literally die for elias or his family
honestly as his head of security, feels 1000% responsible for his death!!!!

elias could tell him to do literally anything and aaron would (and has) blindly agreed to it
he’s done a lot of shady things but the worst thing that he ever had to do was give up his own wife
did NOT see that one coming????
tbh she was the best thing he had in his life and he never expected her to leave!
but when she left him for elias, he almost couldn’t blame her
he’d always looked up to elias as the best person that he owed everything to (so why not his wife as well???)
super good at keeping calm and locking down his feelings
has the best poker face you can never tell what he’s thinking
has a LOT of emotions going on underneath tbh
super methodical and precise in doing his job
has certainly thrown himself into it after his wife left and elias died
for fun he works out?????????
insane self defense skills you do not want to fight him
dated ava for a hot second a few years after rita left him
honestly did develop actual feelings for her but he realized that he didn’t like who he was when they were together
got kind of possessive and realized that it was b/c he didn’t trust her
got a little too jealous whenever she hung out with any other guys
knew that it wasn’t healthy and so he ended it
plus he definitely has a lot of unresolved feelings re: his wife that he isn’t sure that he’ll ever get over
they never really had any closure tbh
acts like their past doesn’t bother him when they are together but he is just barely keeping it together on the inside
still wants the best for her and just wants her to be happy??
part of him wants her back but he also knows that it won’t ever be the same and that he should probably just let that go
is just as loyal to roman as he was to his father
will NOT let anything happen to him or any of his siblings (or if he does, he is going to die trying this time)
is here to help roman learn the ropes of the family business
doesn’t say a whole lot but when he does, it is usually super important or just a cynical joke???
honestly just super driven by blind loyalty and if cares about you he will do anything for you!
