I’m usually out here just reposting and shit but today is a little different. Because people.. who gives a fuck about Halle being cast as Ariel?!?! She is a beautiful girl and she deserves this fucking role!!! Just ‘cause way back in the day when The Little Mermaid was created and she was a white girl doesn’t mean she has to be now! As long as her hair is fucking red in the movie, I could give a fuck less about the color of her skin. You racist assholes are really out here buggin’ over something so trivial as the color of her skin.

No, I’m not a woman of color. And I don’t understand what people of color had to go through throughout the course of history or just general life now. But what I do know is that people of color have worked just as hard if not harder for everything they have accomplished and to have to listen to people crying over a Disney remakes characters skin color is ridiculous.

You’re all out here wondering why they’re mad?! Get the fuck over yourselves. They’re tired of a white washed fucking world that we’re all living in. And in all honesty, I’m tired of it myself. We’ll never have a perfect world if people can’t learn to love and appreciate all colors. It’s not about “not seeing color” .. it’s about seeing color and recognizing that yeah we’re different but that’s ok.
