Playing through AC 3, 4 and Liberation and I just

I just

I fucking miss Desmond, Altair and Ezio. I finished Revelations back in december, and I'm still not over it. I really didn't find Connor fun to play, Black Flag didn't have Desmond, and even though I like Aveline, I don't think Liberation is very interesting at all.

Don't think I'll play Rouge and Unity for a while once I've finished Liberation. Maybe if I wait a while to play them some of the gaming joy will return. I hope so at least, but knowing I'll never play Desmond, Altair and Ezio again gets me down.

Thoughts on Assassin's Creed

Gah I've been all Assassin's Creed obsessed lately... Which, I mean, is pretty awesome because Asscreed is awesome, but also annoying. I've played AC 2, Brotherhood and Revelations since november, and while playing them (and loving them obv), I was really looking forward to playing AC 3. And then I did. And it was kind of a let down. So like, now my obsession is all unsatisfied! I mean, AC3 was really pretty with the landscapes and forests and hunting and stuff, but just.. Connor was really uncharismatic and super not charming, and the story just felt a bit meh. So yeah, I've got an annoying AC obsession that I can't seem to shake, and I can't install Black flag until next week when I've finished my essay (the essay's never gonna be finished otherwise)

Just UGH ASSASSIN*S CREED! I miss Altaïr! And though I at first was a bit sceptical towards Ezio because Altair was such perfection, he really grew on me and I really miss him too. Connor was such a let down in comparison. I really hope Edward picks things up again.

Not having seen you in a while, whilst it also feels like a stone in my chest, is such a relief. You usually take up so much space, in my head, in my heart, in my uneven breathing, it’s a relief when you do not also take up space in my sight. Because you do, you really do. My eyes will seek you, turn towards you, without instruction. Like you were the sun and I were the insignificant little flower. Insignificant because she knows, and sees when she’s with you, that she’s not the only flower in your garden. It’s a relief not to have been in your presence in a while, whilst it’s also suffocating, not getting to breathe the same air you breathe. Not getting to feel the warmth on my face, when the sun finally turns towards me.

The Silmarillion Soundtrack

What I really want, more than I actually want a movie for it, is for Howard Shore to score The Silmarillion. I don't even really want a movie at all, but the soundtrack for it would be magnificent, just imagine it:

The themes of the Ainur, the motifs of the Valar, the Lay of Luthien, the entire orchestra exploding in triumph at the sun rising for the first time, the different hidden cities with their own cultural influences in the music. Imagine!

It would be such perfection.

Thoughts on Outlander

I mean, I do like Outlander, but it would be nice to get like one single episode where no one is implying that they want to, threatening to or trying to rape Claire.
