Every night when I stare at the moon; I want to scream at him that so many shits are going on currently but still you're terribly seducing me with all your beauty, telling me just to hold on more. This is kind of unfair but okay whatever you say!!

in many ways I do get when people joke around like lol dostoyesvky dark academia! dostoyesvky is sending me into fits of madness and delirium! because like yeah. his writing is insane and dismantles your whole world view a little then shakes you around and slaps you in the face. but at the core of his work he is always writing about goodness and love against all odds and in all places. these characters are doomed to disaster but not despair! suffering is not something that need only be endured but something that can be redemptive! the darkness of his works is only to show the brightness of the light! like to me they are joyful. idk

One of my favorite things about classic literature is how Iām reminded that humans have always been this unhinged
