something i find really funny about archie elec man is that i have no idea how tall he’s supposed to be

sometimes he’s the same height as mega man, which by the way would also make him 4’4”, and i find that both hysterical and cute

sometimes he’s a little bit taller than mega man but not by much, which is what seems to be the most common depiction

and then there’s THIS panel of elec man which cracks me up. his proportions make him look incredibly small to the point that its absurd

however he is pretty consistently smaller than human characters, though not really by how much.

i know that these were comics that had to be released by deadlines and each arc had different artists, and so inconsistencies are certainly inevitable and expected. height accuracy is definitely one of those that is bound to be inconsistent. but im autistic as fuck and obsessed with minute character details that dont matter at all for my favourite characters so of course this kind of thing was stuck in my head

so now i just wanna ask about people’s headcanons for these robots’ heights, because even though usually most of them are interpreted as being pretty tall (except ones that are obviously meant to be short), most of the ones that have canonical heights are actually way smaller than expected? like the mega man 6 robot masters, who all have canonical heights, are almost all in the 4’9-5’5 range (it even states that centaur man is 5’1”, which is ridiculous). and this makes me wonder if having these robots be smaller than the average human, to the point that a lot of them are under 4’11, has an actual reason. or do they just want to build little guys for funzies. idk

anyway thanks for listening to my insane ramblings about a character’s height. i’m a small guy myself irl so the topic of height just comes naturally to me i guess LMAO

yeah i wanted to make a robot master sona for myself because mega man robot designs are fun

i dont have too much information about him at the moment but my current idea for him is that he was created by a company that only recently stopped being a record label, and they wanted to """experiment""". so they created a robot who took all of the music from the artists they previously worked with and would make "new music" for them. eventually the music that was released got pretty stale and homogenous and even vinyl man started to get tired of it, so he left the company to try and figure out how to make something truly his own. maybe all of this is stupid and makes no sense idk

he's shy and polite, but has pretty bad self-esteem issues due to his original functions making him feel like a fraud. he doesnt have a strong sense of identity. poor guy
