Pip spotted Dimitri across the café and a grin spread across her face before she could help it. "Well, if it isn't my favorite Brit in New York." She said as she slid into the seat opposite him, setting her bag down with a soft thud. "You have no idea how good it is to hear someone who actually pronounces vitamin the proper way." She said and laughed. She leaned forward on her elbows, lowering her voice playfully. "So, tell me, what wisdom do you have for me today? Or should I just brace myself for you giving me a hard time about my caffeine intake again?" @mfdimitriharrison

"I've just been hanging out with my boyfriend." Sky admitted with a shrug. "Nothing crazy, between college classes and him. Things have been keeping me pretty busy." She smiled softly and took one of the cookies. "Fill me in on you now."

Pip leaned back against the couch, pulling her knees up slightly as she picked at the edge of her cookie. "Busy sounds good, though. At least it means you're not stuck staring at a ceiling like me half the time." She gave a small laugh. "I've mostly been buried in classes and side projects… nothing glamorous. Just my usual, digging into things I probably shouldn't be." Her eyes flicked to Skylar with a hint of playfulness. "Though, compared to having a boyfriend, my life's definitely the less exciting one."

"I haven't been up to anything interesting, really." Jackie looked at her friend with a smile. "Seriously, I feel like I have no life because I'm just trying to stay under Gossip Girl's radar."

Pip tilted her head, giving a sympathetic little smile. "I get it, keeping a low profile is practically an art form around here." She reached for a cookie and broke it in half absentmindedly. "But come on, you can't have nothing going on. Even the small stuff counts. New obsession, new show, random weird thing that happened on the subway?"

Briar took a sip of her drink and raised a brow at her. "I think I was telling you about some scandal that was happening at work." She laughed. "I can't remember though."

Pip leaned back slightly, her brows knitting together as if retracing the conversation. "Right, you were talking about that scandal at work." She said, nodding as the memory clicked into place. "Something about your coworker making a mess of things? It sounded like quite the drama."

"The information about his arrest?" Kiara cocked a brow. "We went to Kildare because Gossip Girl decided to take us all there and not even twenty-four hours later, JJ was arrested. That's the information."

"No, that's not really what i meant. I was talking about his bail, if he could or the charges against him. Maybe we could find a loophole." Pip said and shrugged. "In short, it was a trap or a scheme by this Gossip Girl. I'll see what i can do. We could try to plead his case."

Dean looked at the cookies on the plate and then back at Pip and sighed. "I was mostly just complaining about how I fucked up a lot of my relationships by just leaving and not telling anyone what was going on."

"Yeah no offense, you really screwed it up with Ella." Pip said half-jokingly, scrunching her nose as she looked at him. "But honestly, I'm very guilty for doing the same thing. I was in a very grave situation. It was when i came to study at Cambridge, I just left and at one point, I stopped contacting my family and friends but it was for their own good. If i was gonna get into trouble, I'd rather not have them be involved."

"Well for JJ getting arrested, it uh...it doesn't surprise any of us but it still sucks it happened." Cleo looked at Pip and raised a brow. "I gotta admit, that's up to John B if he wants to talk about it. I only joined them recently when I helped them try to save Pope's family cross."

Pip gave a small nod, setting her fork down. "Fair enough." She said, her smile understanding. "I wouldn't want to push if it's not really your call. Maybe I'll try talking to John B directly then see if he's open to it." She tilted her head thoughtfully. "No pressure, of course. Just think it'd be great for people to hear your story the way you all see it."

"I travel the world for work, but I could for sure go to an amusement park or try a new hobby."

Pip's grin widened, her eyes sparking with playful curiosity. "Okay, then an amusement park it is. When was the last time you let yourself just…be a kid for a day? Cotton candy, roller coasters, the whole works." She tilted her head, clearly amused at the thought of Amber being dragged onto a ride.

"Or..." She added, leaning in like she was about to uncover something top secret. "We test out the new hobby route. What's something you've always wanted to try but never let yourself? Don't tell me you're about to say knitting because I might just hold you to it."

"i do feel bad for jj and his friends and i wish there was a way we could help them." she looked at the younger woman and said, "at least you can try to help now, right?"

"If i was still old Pippa, I probably would've let him stay in jail. I was naive, I used to think that everything is black and white but no, there are shades of grey. He doesn't seem like a bad person to me." Pip told her, looking at the ground then at her. "I can try. I know some people who could help."

"First of all, I won that fucking fight, second of all, he was being a piece of shit and being disrepsectful." He shrugged. "I'll go to the hospital though."

"Oh really?" Pip replied, in a mocking but playful way. "But your face says otherwise. Dude, it really looks bad. But if he was being a prick then he definitely deserved it." She said, nodding her head. "Want me to go with you? You have to go, like now."

Pip carefully balanced the plate of warm cookies, the scent of chocolate and vanilla wafting through the air as she re-entered the living room. "Fresh out of the oven!" She said, a small smile gracing her lips. "Hope you like them." She set the plate down on the coffee table, her eyes scanning their expression as they reached for one. "So..." She continued, settling back onto the couch. "Where were we? Oh, right... you were telling me about what you've been up to recently. Anything exciting happening in your life?" @ggstarterblog

"Thank you, Pip." Sage smiled at the younger woman. "It's not that I don't get time off, I'm just bad at giving myself extra time off, you know?"

"Don't I know it." Pip said with a soft laugh. "Back when I was still in Little Kilton, I got so deep into everything I was working on, I barely let myself sleep, let alone rest. I guess that's what happens when you really love what you're doing... that it turns into something kind of like an obsession."

"There was this major butthead who was staying in our VIP penthouse and he kept being super rude to the staff. So, I kicked him out. Then my dad called me and told me I shouldn't have done so." She shook her head, "I might not be running it the way he did, but it's been successful and the staff are all happy. No one's quit and that's like a crazy new record." @ggstarterblog

"Good on you to kick him out. That's the thing with customer service, right? You're kind of expected to just grin and bear it even if they're the problem unless it gets really bad." Pip commented, putting down her drink after sipping. "You have to tell me what they did. I'm actually glad you didn't give a damn about them and cared about your staff."

"What did he help you on?" She raised a brow at the other woman and looked at him. "I...I don't know, we don't have any of that information yet."

"It's nothing big. He just answered some questions for me about a vandal going around the city. He probably didn't think much of it but what he said helped nab the guy." Pip told her then she smiled awkwardly. She knew it was probably weird to the other woman that she does those kinds of things. Like solve cases so she followed with an explanation. "I-um... I'm the editor-in-chief of Columbia University's Daily Spectator. It's the school paper." She added. "Well, when you do get information about his arrest, please inform me. I could help. He doesn't seem like a bad guy to me."

"My mom and grandma made sure I began cooking at a young age and not just dishes that they liked, they wanted me to try new foods from different cultures. Food is the best way to bring people together."

"That must be the reason why you're so good at cooking. When I was younger, my head was always buried in books, puzzles and what not." Pip said, smiling to herself as she talked about her childhood. "I do know how to bake but that's a different thing from cooking. I haven't cooked anything much myself, I'm used to just helping mom with that so I really wanna learn how to actually cook things. Edible things, I hope."

"I've been doing that though, now I need to do something different."

"Well, in that case..." Pip said, a mischievous smile appeared on her face. "Why don't you do something fun? Something you can't usually do. Like going to an amusement park, travelling the world or maybe trying a new hobby."
