Akaren Week is officially over this year!

On the Twitter account and AO3, we've had a total of 113 artworks and 87 fanfics. On Tumblr we had roughly 50 artworks! This is so much akaren content!!! Thank you to everyone who participated, whether once or seven times. The mods all had so much fun, and we hope you did too!!! 💖💖💖

I'm a bit late for the last day, but I did manage to do all prompts I wanted to, so I'm happy with me. Akaren Week got me out of my Art Block! :D

I don't know if you can count this as horror. I do, kind of? At least it must be very horrific for Kyojuro to become a demon and then be forced to eat human meat.

I just asked myself, do you know of any other current, recurring or upcoming Demon Slayer writing events? It seems like you're the only one out there :(

I'm sorry to disappoint :(( I do not personally know of any other writing projects going on. Perhaps searching for some ships you like could lead you to an event? Here or on twitter? I know a SaneGiyuu week just finished up before ours, but any other event is unknown to me. I wish you luck on hopefully finding more events! Even without an event, I wish you well in your writing endeavors!

Originally had something else planned for this day but I realized that I have so many WIPS I need to work on that could fulfil these prompts T_T

What's that? Another late submission for @akarenweek ?? And it only took the artist 2 weeks to finish even though it was already waiting in their wips, half-complete??? :0

One very important thing about both these characters is that they Both Die In The End, but I still like to occasionally imagine them existing in some hazy hypothetical post-canon scenario just being domestic and in love. So here are some various doodles of Akaza being glued to Kyojuro's hip even if it means he has to (very badly) pretend to be human sometimes. You can headcanon whatever you want about how they ended up here!

(Also if you're wondering why Kyo is missing an arm + using a cane, I just assume if he somehow lived past his fight with Akaza and/or Final Selection, he probably has at least a couple permanent injuries LOL)

Renkaza week

im not late youre late. anyway here's all 7 prompts in one go bcs im nervous and shy and also ive never drawn either of these men before in my life

Day One: there's a belief in some sects of buddhism that people can sometimes be resurrected as animals. people that maybe failed their duty as a human being or people that maybe deserved a simpler life.

Day Two: Folklore. ever heard of Princess Kaguya? aka the Tale of the Bamboo Cutter. ok now make kyojuro kaguya and sutemaru (i think he's ghibli movie exclusive) with akaza. badabing badaboom. (might make a seperate post on this just cuz its been eating me alive)

Day 3: scars. or a lack of them. perks of being a demon

Day 4: Cinema. aka actor au. photo captioned: "Flame Hashira on duty! Making sure no one goes cold tonight!" and its akaza in bunny slippers and rengoku's cloak bcs they were filming in the dead of night and akaza is walking around with no shirt or shoes on.

Day 5: Love Letters. featuring Akaza's illiterate ass. kaname refuses to read it to him. but akaza struggles so much, so instead kaname helps with words that akaza doesn't know.

Day 6: Crossover. teaser for future project...... 3 guesses what i crossed kny with.

Day 7: free. idk i couldn't think of anything so i found a pose on pinterest and went nuts.

Akaza’s diet is limited, when he has to eat I head canon he’d strictly eat pillars, or strong martial artists… perhaps he doesn’t like his nutritional need for humans, but he might enjoy devouring the ones he liked.
