「未来に伝えるせたがや今ばなし」 残すところ2日。この週末で、椎木彩子さんが主催する展示が終わります。本日は公開制作をしているようです。 感染者数が増えていますが、今年を振り返り立ち止まって考えるという意味でも、お近くのかたはぜひ😷 会期前半より鳥や作品が増え、内容も賑わっています。先週はトークイベントを撮影しました。 @saikoshiiki_ @setagaya_ldc ---------- アートコレクティブ「あの海は山のよう」による進行形の展覧会。コロナ禍の暮らしから生まれた「今ばなし」を制作・発表します。 会期： 2020年10月24日（土）～2020年11月22日（日） 時間： 9:00～21:00 月曜休み 会場： 生活工房ギャラリー（三軒茶屋・キャロットタワー3階） ---------- 2020年の「今ばなし」が、いつか未来の「昔ばなし」になる──。 アートコレクティブ「あの海は山のよう」は、企画に応じて音楽家やダンサーなど多彩なクリエイターとともに、パフォーマンスを中心とした作品を発表してきました。主宰者である椎木彩子は、言葉を採集して平面作品を中心に制作しています。 本展では、現代の〈民話〉を紡ぐために約３ヶ月かけて開催したワークショップの成果を発表します。 当初は対面のワークショップで集めた言葉を創作のヒントにする予定でしたが、コロナ禍によって断念し、非対面の「テレ（＝遠隔）ワークショップ」へと変更して実施しました。 6人の参加者によって自宅で綴られた手紙や詩、造形物をもとにアーティストが紡ぎだす現代の〈民話〉は、未来の人々にどのように受け止められるのでしょうか。 会場では、この〈民話〉をもとにした紙芝居の公開制作も行われ、まさに現在進行形の物語が展開されます。2020年の「今ばなし」が、いつか未来の「昔ばなし」になる──。コロナ禍の暮らしから生まれた「今ばなし」をどうぞご覧ください。 The art collective “Ano umi wa yama no you” has produced performance-based works in collaboration with diverse creators, including musicians and dancers, depending on the project. The collective is led by Saiko Shiiki, an artist whose practice revolves around two-dimensional works that she creates by collecting words. This exhibition presents the results of workshops held over a period of three months to compose a “folk tale” of the present day. Initially, the plan was to use the words collected in face-to-face workshops as clues, but this was abandoned in favor of a non-face-to-face “tele (remote) workshop” due to the corona crisis. How will a contemporary “folk tale” woven by the artists, based on letters, poems and objects written and created by the six participants in their homes, be received by the people of the future? A live production of a picture-story show based on the folk tale will also be on show at the venue, presenting the unfolding of a narrative in the making. The “contemporary tales” of 2020 will one day become the “old tales” of the future.
