A role reversal retelling of the classical tale "Painted Skin" where a general (FL) rescues a fox demon (ML) and brings him to her home, causing conflict with her husband (SML).
Since it's a short retelling, it leaves a lot implied (like whether or not SML was brought in as a concubine) and doesn't ultimately show too much since the focus is mostly on the tense dynamic between the two MLs. FL is a smitten general and SML is her stay-at-home husband (due to an injury), who are homewrecked by a seductive fox demon ML who has a crush on her.
