im a trans girl. if you could call me she and her when you're talking about me i would appreciate it. i would rather have told this to everyone i care about individually but i couldn't have waited that long. if we're close, if we've ever been close, hit me up. thank you to everyone who's told me about their selves and listened when i've told you about mine. you give me the strength to live honestly. love, cole
When I was little I used to have this intense urge to cut off the tip of my tongue…I would sit in the basement and press the open scissors up against my tongue and squeeze just a little to see what it would feel like
Holy shit, what the fuck happened.
My name’s Cole. I’m a white, straight, cis, upper-middle-class underage male with short hair and a 3.5+ GPA. I like canoeing and outsider music and downhill skiing and musique-concrete and Harmony Korine’s films and cross-country skiing and discussing memes and Heems’ solo work and most plants and Lunice’s DJ sets at the Boiler Room and travelling and Jeremy Scott and going to cafés and not buying anything and the music video for Grimes’ song Oblivion (and the song itself (and the album it was on)) and Ramune and girls with short hair and Mark Rothko and fireplaces and really small, modern-looking houses and Avey Tare’s scream and muted shades of pink and wearing women’s shirts and road trips and photography and Sex and the City and YYU and poutine and making abstract text posts and
My friend, you have stepped into some deep shit. You do NOT want this blog feud, I promise you. I will not reveal the amount of my followers, but they are numerous, and many popular bloggers rank among them. Do not fuck with me, good sir.

I'm on DND.
That's "Do Not Disturb"!
coming out isn't a dramatic stunt queen thing...wtf???
well actually it is! what does proclaiming to the public that “i am _______” actually do? do you magically become _______________ in that moment? does it lessen the work that queer people have to do with their families and friends? to say “i am ___________________” is 1. a huge privilege 2. a performance
i understand that it makes people feel better and more secure to “come out” but so does weed and money and spanx and heroin lmao
this is like… no??? it differs for every person and experience you can’t just make statements like this imo.
not having to come out can also be a gigantic privilege and there are a lot of scared kids (and adults too) for who it’s necessary to have that coming out moment with their loved ones. it’s a moment where you are demanding that they need to recognize and acknowledge something that is really scary to tell people for the first time
anon took my original statement out of context
my original post positioned coming out as this dramatic stunt queen thing that is more or less unique to american/western queer discourses that created it
obviously it is so rooted and standardized that it’s probably necessary for some people to do but miss me with the idea that proclaiming your identity to other people is inherently some powerful thing that espouses real change
it’s a ritual sis and its only accessible to those who have safe people to come out to in the first place
okay… i’m just getting at that i think what you wrote is hurtful n wrong. i didn’t come out the traditional way either i just kinda showed up with a new boyfriend and was like *welp?* i like it better that way and agree more people should be less nurturing to straight people’s comfort levels
i don’t think it’s necessary all the time and it does pretty much cater to straight people,
BUT there are many situations where people feel a proper coming out statement might be the only way and if they want (or even NEED) to do it let people do it and don’t shame them for it thats just gross
if people feel a need to come out it’s because they have been made to feel that their identity requires demystification or explanation or ceremony or all kinds of stuff that minorities are made to feel about their identity
i’m not trying hurt anyone or shame anyone but i talk to a lot of trans girls running around all worried about coming out and it’s because (because because because) they have been made to feel like they need to worry about their identities–that their identities are wrong somehow and require explanation
people need to deal with other people and the world we live in but just because something feels good or necessary doesn’t mean it’s rooted in goodness
Fuck me this is soo fucking true!!!!! What the hell!!!!!!
boy i smoke the loudest.. cuz im the saddest..
my phone vibration is making the same sound as the minecraft guy walking, every time i've ever opened a computer i felt the exact same way
