Hello, I finally posted a Manba-chan doujin I wrote and drew in 2017 for a Manba-chan anthology project that didn’t come into fruition. I only edited the text (proofread), didn’t even put title on the first page as I think it’s perfect as it is, and the afterword says everything else. 

You can read it here. Yes, it’s free, of course. 16 (17 plus afterword) pages.

One interesting thing about their dynamic I haven’t seen discussed yet is how Flynn is actually the one who is more insecure about their relationship

Yuri, despite his massive self worth issues when it comes to Flynn, knows 100% where he’s at emotionally and doesn’t question his place in Flynn’s life for a second. He’s never doubted that he’d play Flynn’s shadow and never regretted it, just comfortable being the silent support whenever needed and letting Flynn take all the glory.

Flynn however expresses doubt in this arrangement more than once, get’s emotional about Yuri stepping back because he’s just a tad more insecure about their relationship than Yuri. He’s actually worried Yuri is taking on more than he can carry to protect him - a valid concern, considering this is Yuri we’re talking about - while Yuri actually knows he can lean on Flynn from the get go and has no trouble doing so.

Flynn never had to convince Yuri he could be weak around him like the others had. Yuri knows Flynn can carry what he can’t, is comfortable with where they stand in each other’s lives. Flynn is much more insecure about it all and it shows in how he can’t find the words to express himself.

But beating each other up is a good way to clear things up apparently. And because Yuri knows Flynn better than anyone, he knows that much too.
