Have been writing this asshole for 7+ yrs.
RULES TL;DR. 1) I have AuDHD, C-PTSD and a mood disorder. I am a Survivor of abuse. Please at least be fair about this. I’m trying my best for both of us. 2) Don’t be a bigot/asshole. 3) Don’t ‘collect’ my muses for shipping/smutting purposes. they’re not pokemon. Some plotting beforehand is appreciated if we’re shipping. Default verse is canon-divergent, based on own lore, in which Alastor is a Spirit of Vengeance, a backstory that has been developing since 2019.

about how I filter & tag: i am aro-ace and sex averse. i use people's shipping tags and "nsf.w" tags to filter through content that is uncomfortable for me. if you tag things, i am forever grateful. if you don't then probably we aren't going to be compatible. no hard feelings. personally i try not to erasure characters' canon orientations. how i do things doesn't mean I think you should imitate me. it's just how i do things personally. ship/smut and enjoy the characters however you want.
PS- if it's marked "Alastorific Lore" it means it's original lore of mine. Kindly don't scrape it for your own rp/fics without asking like you're some kind of AI bot accumulating art/data. Shady is essentially a magical clone of Alastor. Despite being sentient (not a shadow of him as the name might suggest, so don't let that confuse you), having thoughts of his own, and a soul of his own.
So there's slight variations.
Alastor is Ace-Aro in his own unique way. That is explained on the Pinned in the link About Relationships.
As for Shady, he falls on the Grey-Ace side of things, much like Milton did in life. And as for romantic persuasion? Since he was 'created' only seven years ago he is still learning about that! One can assume it's roughly the same as Alastor, though. He is probably Gray-Romantic as well, the way Milton was in life.

With a head tilt, while cleaning his claws with an extra strong emery board, Alastor's ears swiveled in Cain's direction. His eyes also showed he was listening, smile altering slightly.
"Oh well... I miiiiight. Depends! Do I seem like the type of stag to go around gossiping about those who mistreated me?" flexing his claws. "Why? Have any experience with any of them?" he looked the other over, determining if they looked familiar or if he should be wary of anything.
"I watched a large ant and a small ant fight over a piece of poison bait today. Truly no winners there."

"Well, that's no way to look at it, Soldie-woldie!" Alastor swung an arm around her shoulder and pulled her close as if they were closest of friends. They were not.
His claw he slid under chin might as well be a dagger he threatened her with. "One of those ants might have wanted that poison! Then obviously if he won the poison trap..." he gestured. Letting it up to her to conclude that obviously there'd be a winner. "Death is a mercy sometimes, never forget that."
"And the other one is obviously too stupid to be around in a colony of ants that take advantage of that kind of thing."

Alastor does seem to genuinely enjoy his rivalry with Vox.
While this version of there relationship seems low key torturers to Vox Alastor seems to be haveing genuin fun fighting him. We know Alastor enjoys fighting in general and he really loves winning a fight. He tells Pentious that "few have even got this much off of me" about his coat geting torn. Vox clearly could and did do worse to him than that.
For Alastor fighting is so much more intresting. We see in stayed gone that Vox is the one to pick fights. This adds a much needed element of choas into Alastor's Outherwise almost to easy life.
Now I'm not saying Alator planed on blowing up there relationship befor this. He does seem to genuinely feel betrayed by Vox but, I don't think chronically bored here is completly content with this dynamic either. (Tbf Vox was also not content or he wouldn't have offered the partnership.)
Pluss he clearly has alot of fun messing with his too easy emotions. Alastor needs to have a reason to make someone is victim but, he wants to have someone worthy of being his victim. With out that he can't have the satisfaction of destroying them. And oh good god Vox loves to give Alastor excuses to rip into him.
Vox is his perfect victim. Always comeing back for more. Always so easily pushed around. Always there to give Alastor a good time he craves so bad. At least that's how he sees it. At least untill.
He actually tried to kill him full stop. Not games, not toying, not teaseing or manipulating. No full blown execution.
