Not study related, but life related. I went to the mother of all stores the other day. Target. Their notebooks/stationery/writing supplies section is quite nice, that's where I picked up this journal. IN MY HUMBLE OPINION | An Inner Truth Journal by Knock Knock I don't have much to vent about now but I know for a fact I will when school starts up again, and I just live the way the pages are set up with quotes about frustration with humanity. I'm not very positive, what can I say? This is how I can channel those negative emotions. A great find in my oh so humble opinion. ;)

Update: Motivation is really hard to find

I've done basically nothing for a couple weeks and I'm not feelings so great about it. My to do list has no checks, but I won't give up. There will be a celebration post, I will do what I have to do. It's just looking a lot harder now.

Hello! I have a lot of pens that I don’t use because of three reasons

        - I’m colorblind and can’t read what is written with the colors clearly          - I like super thin pens and some of these aren’t (Papermate Flair)         - I just never use them (Sharpie Markers)

I don’t see why they should take up space at my house and never be used. I figured there would be plenty of people who would love to have them. So, I am doing a giveaway.

These pens are very gently used, so whoever gets them should get a good deal of use out of them.

+My Self-Assigned Summer Reading+

So I’m going to AP Language, and I’m terrified. Ever since the beginning of the year my teacher, who chooses the students and teaches the class itself, told me I would be going in, no doubt. I tend to break under pressure and this class is a lot of pressure. So to prepare instead of just reading the one book assigned, I’m also reading the three options for the regular honors class. We’ll see how it goes. It’s a good thing I love the subject.

1) Death of a Salesman 2) The Glass Menagerie 3) The Scarlet Letter 4) The Great Gatsby (The only one I’m really supposed to read)

I’m listening to my favorite work playlist, since lyrics distract me I mostly choose simple instrumentals hence the name chillstrumentalrics.

I've made a decision

As someone who has spent years barely passing by in school and always getting perturbed stares and questions from people I’ve decided I’m going to change. That is not the life for me anymore. So I made this tumblr, as a way to sort of encourage myself, I see the studyblr community and lust for that sense of focus and care they put into their studying. That’s what I want to do.
