Passed the Challenge | PropOcean Level 1 Funded Account Issued (via Olymp Trade)

It’s official. I hit $2,110 on my evaluation account and sent my trade history to PropOcean. The next morning, I received the email. Level 1 funded account approved.

It feels surreal. Started with $1,000, dropped to $810, almost gave up. But I stayed patient and traded my way through. No overleveraging, no ego. Just execution.

Now I’m managing real money. The funded account comes with tighter rules:

a. Max drawdown: 10% b. Martingale allowed only up to 2 levels c. No pyramiding d. Daily trading report must be submitted before 5 PM (New York time) e. If I hit 40% profit, I get 80% of the payout

This isn’t the evaluation anymore. No reset. No margin for tilt. I’ll trade like this capital is mine. Because that’s exactly how I want to treat it.

Back at $1,700 | Nearing the Finish Line with PropOcean on Olymp Trade

I’m back.

Account’s at $1,700 now. After dropping to $810, I honestly wasn’t sure if I could climb back. But here we are.

It took eight straight days of tight, rule-based trading. Only $100 entries. No tilt. No ego. No Martingale. Mostly Gold, occasionally Crypto. One setup a day. Sometimes none.

What changed? I stopped trying to prove anything. Just stuck to what works.

I’m still $300 away from the goal. Close enough to feel it, far enough to blow it. That’s the reality of fixed-time trading. One mistake is all it takes.

So I’m not relaxing yet. I’ll trade tomorrow the same way I did at $900. Nothing changes until the goal is in my account.

Slow Climb Back to $930 | PropOcean Recovery on Olymp Trade

Climbed back a little today. Balance is at $930. Up $120 from the bottom.

No more Martingale. Just $100 fixed-time trades. Today’s trades were in Gold and Crypto, both on clean setups. 1 win. 1 break-even. No tilt. No drama.

I’m not gonna lie, I still feel shaky. After falling from $1,510 to $810, it’s hard to feel secure.

But this isn’t about confidence. It’s about consistency.

PropOcean won’t fund me because I believe in myself. They’ll fund me because I followed the plan.

Every trade from here has to matter.

Martingale Burnout | From $1,510 to $810 in the PropOcean Evaluation (Olymp Trade)

This one hurt :(

I broke my rule today. Ran a 3-step Martingale. Knew it was a bad idea halfway through, but didn’t stop.

First trade was $100. Loss. Second trade, $200. Still no confirmation. Another loss. Third trade, $400. Told myself “one more and I’m done.” And that was it. Lost again.

$700 gone in three trades. In under 20 minutes.

I was sitting at $1,510. Now I’m down to $810. Didn’t blow the account, but I let myself down.

It wasn’t the market. It was me. Emotion, overconfidence, and a moment of “just this once.”

Martingale feels good until it ruins you.

I’m going back to basics. $100 trades, no doubling. If I want this funded account, I have to protect what’s left.

$1,510 and Still Focused | Olymp Trade x PropOcean Evaluation

Made it past the $1,500 mark today. Current balance is $1,510.

That means I’m officially over 75 percent of the way to my $2,000 target. One part of me feels like I should be excited, but honestly, this is the part I fear the most.

This is where traders start rushing. Where the finish line looks close enough to sprint, and that’s when it all slips.

So I slowed down today. Only two trades. One win, one loss. No damage, no tilt.

I wrote in my notes: “Don’t confuse progress with permission to gamble.”

PropOcean won’t care how fast I hit the number. They’ll only care that I traded with control.

Holding that mindset tight until I close this phase.

Holding the Line | PropOcean Midpoint Thoughts on Olymp Trade

Account is sitting at $1,326. Up $326 from the original $1,000 deposit.

Still trading on Olymp Trade with the same 2-minute fixed-time strategy. Mostly Gold. A few Crypto entries here and there.

Today I almost increased my trade size. Tempted to go from $100 to $150 per entry. But I stopped myself.

I know this feeling. You get a few wins, you feel momentum, and your brain says “accelerate.” But this isn’t a race. This is a test.

I reminded myself: I don’t need to finish fast. I need to finish clean.

So I stayed with $100 trades. 2 wins, 1 loss today. +$152 net.

Every time I stick to my rules, I get a little more confident. If I can cross $1,500 by this weekend, the final stretch will be in sight.

Up $174 in the PropOcean Evaluation | Trading on Olymp Trade

I’ve officially started trading inside this evaluation. Took a few entries on Gold today. All 2-minute fixed-time trades.

Kept it simple. $100 per trade. No doubling down. No chasing losses.

Payout was sitting at 85 percent. Not amazing, but stable.

Final count for today: 3 wins, 1 loss That puts me at $1,174 from the original $1,000.

Nothing flashy. But it feels good to build it brick by brick. The biggest thing is, I didn’t overreact after the loss. That’s new.

At this pace, if I stay clean and avoid tilt, I might actually hit that $2K target sooner than expected.

Tomorrow, same mindset. Just looking for one good setup at a time.

Trading with Purpose | PropOcean Evaluation Update

Here’s my first real update since starting the PropOcean evaluation phase.

I deposited $1,000 into Olymp Trade. My goal is to grow it to $2,000. That’s the mark I need to reach for a Level 1 funded account.

There’s no drawdown limit during evaluation, which gives me more freedom. But if I blow the account, I’ll have to start from scratch. That’s enough to keep me sharp.

My trades are mostly in Gold and Crypto, using 1-minute fixed-time entries. The payout ranges from 89% to 93%, depending on asset and timing.

PropOcean allows full strategy flexibility in this phase. Martingale and even risk-free entries are permitted. I’m not taking full advantage of those yet, but knowing I can is reassuring.

Once I reach the $2,000 mark, I’ll submit my trading log and account proof to PropOcean. If everything checks out, I’ll get the funded account in a few business days.

Until then, every trade counts.

My PropOcean Funding Journey Begins

Hello everyone :)

Today marks the beginning of something different for me. I recently came across PropOcean, a proprietary firm that offers funded trading accounts through a challenge. I’ve been trading on Olymp Trade for some time now using fixed-time binary trades with moderate success. But this is my first time testing myself under funding conditions.

I’ve entered the Level 1 challenge which gives a shot at managing a $10,000 account. The challenge rules are simple. Reach a 40 percent profit target, avoid a 10 percent drawdown, and if I succeed I’ll get a funded account and receive performance-based payouts at the end of the month. After reviewing the rules, it felt achievable.

Right now, I’m sticking to what I know. Trading Gold and Crypto on Olymp Trade. Fixed-time, mostly 1-minute entries. If my position moves even one tick in the right direction by the end of the timer, I win. The payout rates range from 89 to 93 percent depending on the asset.

My main concern is hitting drawdown too early. A couple of poor entries and it’s over. I’ll be very careful with position sizes. Never risking more than 2 percent of the test capital per trade.

I plan to document this process like a diary. Each session I’ll write about the trades I took, how I felt, and if I’m still on track. If I pass the challenge and receive the real account, I’ll share what happens next, including performance bonuses.

This feels like the start of something meaningful. Let’s see how far I can take it.
