But I had lots of fun lols Brief Arabic lesson: Ya khmar = you ass (donkey) Na’am = yes Baklawa = a type of sweet pastry with nuts and honey Aasali = (you are) my honey NOTE: the Arabic name “Baklawa” comes from Turkish (Baklava), as the pastry was made in the Ottoman Empire. However, also in ancient times and during the Middle Ages, the people of the Near and Middle east used to make desserts like these (with nuts, honey, fruit syrup etc), since the sugar wasn’t yet available. Baklawas and their likes are made till this very day in these regions and are very popular, and are f***ing delicious.
