There were many fans who were already crying during the middle of the performance. How do you feel about that? 

“Well, one of the biggest reasons why I decided to continue after the 2011 Tohoku earthquake was because of a moment like that. As athletes, we don’t get that type of reaction very often, but I feel like that type of moment is quite frequent in figure skating. We get a lot of power from the fan support all the time, and I think we ourselves get more emotional than the fans, knowing how emotional our fans get because of our performances.“ - Yuzuru Hanyu (x)
