Why can't I download any of your retextures?

Because SFS is down

I miss you so much. It was a gold mine when I found your recolors and now no hair even comes close to the amazingness of your work. Please come back :(

Aw, I really appreciate that. I know I felt the exact same way about PhaedraSims, Aveira, and Nessasims, which is why I started in the first place. I’ve got about 150 hair meshes that I’ve started retexturing, but never finished because my original color actions are gone, and I’m having a hard time recreating them. I’m sorry I’ve bailed on you guys, I figured there’s be someone else who would come up after me to pick up all the slack, but I haven’t seen anyone do that yet. If I can get close to recreating my original color actions then I’m sure I’ll start again.

Any way to recreate this -> (search "jade thirlwall drag hair" on google images)? I would LOVE you forever, more than I already do. Your retextures are everything!

Watch/read a lot of tutorials...I started learning by reading Aveira’s tutorial, and then just a lot of trial and error. It was a few months of trying before I fully retextured an alpha hair mesh, and even then it was pretty bad. Also, techniques and tips depend on what type of computer you have and what software you’re using.

I’m sorry :( I’ve been trying to get back into it, but my original color actions are gone. If I can’t manage to remake those colors (which are my favorite ones), then I don’t want to publish anymore retextures, only because then I’d feel like I’d have to re-do all the ones I’ve done to make all the colors consistent. I’m frustrated about all of it.

Hi! I accidentally found your Leahlilith Rogue Chop recolour through Google, but can't find it on here. Was it deleted?

I believe you can find that retexture in a post I made that links to an SFS folder containing all my “old” retextures (the colors are a bit different, same with the roots). I’m on mobile so it’s something you’ll have to find. If you just keep scrolling you’ll reach it

None whatsoever. My color actions are gone and I can’t load any CC in my game. I basically just have to load each item by itself and I have over 50GB of CC so it’s like an impossible task

I haven’t, they just don’t really interest me and I know that there are others out there who do those kinds of retextures so I’d rather spend my time focusing on the hairs that I like. Sorry ❤️

have you thought of doing hairs with unnatural colours? or have you already done one?

I have, but it takes a lot of time to just do the naturals and I tend to only use natural colors anyways. I may add some unnaturals in the future though.

Hi Alessana, If its not too much work for you I would appreciate if we could get a preview list of hair you are currently working on for lets say each month (a preliminary one of course) just to see IF any requests that has benen sent in are close to be released. Your retextures are by far the most interesting ones out there. Take care :)

Thank you! I’m not very well versed in how to add pages on tumblr, so I wouldn’t know how to make a separate list here. I’ll try to figure it out though. I tend to go to the requests when nothing new is coming out or I have extra time, so I wouldn’t be able to put up any kind of time frame on those.
