Matt: You have to put a few coats on but it works great! I've expanded my refrigerator art to the wall now. I don't know why I never considered this before.

Alex: That's a good idea! Far better than thinking about possibly buying a bigger refrigerator. Kindergarten just started and I'm already running out of room to hang Faith's art.

Carmen: Good thinking! I know whenever I lived in New York I longed for more nature and plants in my apartment. Thought I might as well make it happen now.

Alex: Yes, I'm the outdoor spaces gardener :) It is both fun as well as challenging. The biggest challenge is to not make all gardens look the same.

Alex: You can never have too many plants and flowers in your apartment. They make a place feel more homey or perhaps more livable is a better way to describe it?

Alex: We will, and we've got you a few things that any new found chalkboard artist can't do without. She will love that!

Carmen: I have been trying to find some ways to add some nature to my apartment. Would you have any tips of what I could do with a smaller space?

Alex: I'm not an expert when it comes to indoor spaces, I think if you want some good advice on what plants will work best for you inside you could check with Frannie or Vinny at Bloom.

Alex: As for maximizing the space... shelves and put as many plants on them as you can.

ALEX: That's absolutely true. It's going well, I still have to set up play set for Faith but other then that, it's nearly finished.

Really? That is wonderful news! Well I would like to know what would be the easiest to start with. I know that there are a variety of things to plant but I am just struggling if I should just start with flowers or if vegetables would be just as easy. 

It all depends on how much time you are willing to put into your gardening. Planting and growing flowers tend to be a bit easier and less time consuming compared to growing your own vegetables.
