If I live in darkness and all I need is the light you shine, then your premature forfeit is the only thing keeping yourself from shining my eyes blind. You're so beautiful.

Squinted eyes and cheeks big with a smile. Comforting me when you know I hurt. How you move your paw to push my face into yours. I'm sorry I try to refuse kisses but I've seen where your tongue has been... I still love how you bite my nose to keep me there though. You probably love to hear me scream and laugh when I do lol. And how it burns now that you've licked the top layer of my skin off lol. All I have to do is shut off the light and you just know. I lay down and leave a spot for you beside me. You cuddle me between my arms and roll your fat body until you get comfy. Purring loud in my ear. Humming me softly to sleep. Massaging my chest. I'm never alone when you're here. My baby. But you're not mine to love or enjoy. I can't take that credit. Though I loved you well enough before I took you. I was the only one other than her who did. But no. I have no role. We used to be your mothers. Now we fight like two parents in a custody battle and a war of who loves you more. I give up. Not my place. I'm now a step mother. Moved in and out of your life.
