watched some of lonelygirl15 this week, a web series/youtube arg from 2006. Even though in my opinion it loses what made it special as soon as it changes format (about 70 videos in on the playlist i watched) there’s something that will definitely stick with me about its main character. I think the first arc of it is really something special and it was the dedication to portraying the realistic uncool behavior of teenagers who are in weird circumstances they can’t talk about that made it really work for me. It would be cool to make something with these themes someday because I have a lot to say on the topic. I guess the text makes this kind of a fanfic, I wanted to think about what more I would do with Bree and how I would explore her circumstances.
