Some new knives
New anthology Kickstarter going live Monday 11th https://www.instagram.com/p/CJqovtzh8BC/?igshid=dom6awx31zwn
a few of my recent projects.
The sword was my father’s. it’s a Scottish basket hilt broadsword. Possibly 18th Century
Inktober so far.
A few more of my hand made knives. The pattern on the blades is from mustard patina. The colourful one are steel blanks from Germany with sculpy handles.

Two more knives. The first is a Damascus neck knife I made (didn’t forge the Damascus, I had a billet) and a knife from Argentina. I tried very hard to resist it, but I didn’t have and South American knives it is just so weird. Try to guess what that handle is made from.
From left to right the new knives are a Ganzo, Vouking, Ganzo, Grohman, Ganzo, and Two Sun
Trying to stay sharp, but the synapses aren’t snapping. While waiting for the brain finger connection to re-establish, I started this year’s crop of knives.
The curved one is for an online fundraiser auction. The mottled look on the blade is mustard patina. The centre is a dagger made from wootz steel. The checkerboard one is an old Damascus blade I’ve had lying around for a while.
I’m funding this book through Kickstarter. Eleven stories of courageous girls changing their worlds.

@sickxknives A few more knives. I’ve added to my collection of folding knives. Some cheap, some less cheap.
I also finally finished a kitchen knife I was making for a friend. It is a bit heavy, but chops like a dream. It is spring steel with Russian olive for the handle. I couldn’t decide on a price, so I gave it to the for their birthday.
