What happened to the Killers of Imam Hussain(as) after Martyrdom:

“One of the soldiers of Ibn Ziyaad (la) saw the Holy Prophet (saws) in the dream who drew across his eyes with the blood of Imam Hussain (as) and the soldier became blind.”

(Maqtal Al Hussain (as), 2/104)

“A man who wanted to snatch the string of Imam Hussain’s (as) trousers, turned blind and his hands and legs were dismembered. This occurred after he had seen Lady Fatima (sa) in a dream and she (as) had cursed him.”

“The hand of the person who had looted the turban of Imam Hussain (as) was severed from the elbow. He fell into poverty and misfortune till he died.”

“One who said: "I am the killer of Imam Hussain (as)” , lost his sense and became dumb.“

"The man who looted the trousers of Imam Hussain (as) became paralysed: the one who had taken the turban of Imam (as) became a leper and the one who robbed the chain armour became insane. A dust storm, which was dark, arose with a red storm in which nothing could be seen till the people thought that Divine punishment had descended on them.”

السلام علیک یا امیر المومنین علیہ اسلام

Tonight, on the eve of the 19th of the Holy month of Ramazan, I send my salawat on Amir ul-Momineen, Imam Ali ع.

I send my condolences to Imam az-Zaman عجل اللّہ تعالٰی فرجہ on the night on which the Holy head of Imam Ali ع was struck with the poisoned sword of Ibn-Muljim لعنت اللّہ.

I send my salawat on the Wali of Allah swt, the man ع who offered water to his killer and ordered for his death to be one void of pain and suffering.

I send my salawat on the man ع who, as the sword struck him, said

“فزت ورب الكعبة”

“By the Lord of the Ka'aba, I have succeeded.”
