I already got paint samples lmao. My realtor had one of the paint swatch Rolodex things and is letting me borrow it omg bless. I picked two whites to try out based on those swatches. This white is Roman Column. Is it too white though??? This is it from two different spots
Also I think I want the lilac to be a little more saturated if I go with this color palette

I was gonna try and finish most of the rest of packing tonight but I tried to pack my damn microwave so I could take it to goodwill tomorrow and that set off my neuralgia so tonight was basically a bust. Fuck.
At this point I can really only pack the light stuff. Anything else the movers will just have to deal with. I can take stuff to goodwill after my nerves have had a chance to calm down.
I even tried calling them over the weekend to add packing services and they were booked. So that really sucked because the pain is genuinely bad/sensitive enough that I was willing to pay $170 an hour for people to pack my stuff.
I’m literally buying a whole ass townhome tomorrow how am I supposed to sleep

My apartment is like 80% packed and I’m so exhausted. But good for me though, it wasn’t as bad packing everything in 3 days as I thought it would be, even though two of those days I was dying from nerve pain. I’m gonna finish the kitchen tonight (prob just one more box) and then I think I can save the rest of it for the next three days since it’s just random stuff here and there.
And then I have two days of work and then closing day and then moving day!!!!!

Idk if this has made it outside of Atlanta news but women are getting stabbed left and right in broad daylight. Completely unprovoked and it seems like these men are just choosing random victims that are women. And in very public places too.
Honestly packing is going a lot better than expected. The only major thing I have left is the kitchen. After that it’s just a bunch if random stuff. But obviously the kitchen is by far the worst part of packing. But I can’t do it today because my nerves need a break so I can’t be lifting those kinds of heavy boxes.
What’s interesting also is I can tell when my b12 is low by how hard it is to go up the stairs lmao
It only takes a week of not taking my supplement! That’s crazy! Why can’t my body function properly!!!
I just didn’t take it this past week because it lives on my coffee table and I wasn’t eating down there because of the flood/fans. I wonder if I take a big dose if I’ll feel better faster. Idk I’m gonna try it. Pretty hard to overdose on b vitamins. And also maybe it’s why my nerves in my neck/shoulder are so fucked right now.
I’m awake in the middle of the night and my nerves are still fucked. I don’t have time for this. I have to pack.
Ugh I wonder how much it is to pay the moving company to pack???
Also I do technically have this apartment until June 19. I guess it’s not the end of the world if I just focus on the major stuff and have the movers move that and I come back for the small stuff. But that sounds dumb.
I still check Zillow because it’s fun and honestly very reassuring because it’s been a month now since I first put in my offer on my townhome and there are hardly any new ones on the market since then. Half of the “new” listing are also just ones that were on the market for a while and so they took them down and put them back up. So there’s like no inventory but even the inventory that’s there isn’t selling. And I toured one of the units that did that and there was nothing wrong with it, it just wasn’t for me. It’s crazy. I feel like I hear people having to compete like crazy for homes and the townhome market in Atlanta is just dead right now. Inventory should be at its highest right around now too.
I owe $13.3k at closing 🤮
It’s more than I expected but I’m like oh yeah it includes my year of insurance and three months of HOA fee. And nobody told me I’d be paying 3 months of the HOA fee upfront hello??? It’s $400 a month
And then I have to pay the movers and the handyman and the cleaners… yeah I am def painting myself I literally cannot afford to pay someone to paint. I am going to be so broke after this 🤪
Jk I looked over the numbers more and talked to my loan officer and was like something isn’t adding up! Turns out she thought I was putting more down than I was because I wasn’t sure at the beginning and she just didn’t confirm after my dad sent the gift money. So I actually only have to pay like $3k at closing!!! Hell yeah
But I already wired the money so now they’re gonna have to give me a check at closing or something for the extra $10k that I didn’t want to put down
Yaaay I’ll still have money left over after this whole process and moving is over!!!
