hi i have been DYING to talk about how we've been through this stupid "trans men have male privilege" ringer before with the discussions around white passing. where we just ended up establishing that white-passing privilege is not the same as real privilege. cuz they will be just as racist to you the second you fail to meet the moving goalposts of whiteness. like if you have to change your name, identity, culture, and erase all identifiers of who you truly are is it really privilege? (not to equate gender and race at all i just find the discourse very similar)

They can get an inkling of it but only if they give up their entire identity and live their life in hiding and isolation from their trans community.
