Hold, little lady.
{ Splendore stops where he is and leans against a tree. Sugar is still being held in jail in her tendrils. }
This is as good a place to stop as any. Take a moment.
@poet-splendorman (Splendore)
*Alicia perks up and stops walking, looking behind her and around at the surroundings, as if she expects for there to be something notable in the immediate area. The three of them (or, two, with Sugar being in air jail.) have been walking for a while, but...*
We're stopping...? Is something wrong?
Have you heard of rest, Alicia? It's supposedly very important.
I think -
If you're going to threaten her, Sugar, don't.
{ Sugar grumbles, but does not finish its statement. }
*Alicia grumbles.*
Well, yes, obviously. It's just...
*Alicia looks over her shoulder at where they've walked before. She's been doing that a lot.*
We aren't being followed or tracked by anything, right? I mean... I should've been able to tell by now, but... There's no telling what's in this forest with us.
*She seems tense. Alicia's arms are crossed, but her visible hand is clutching at her sleeve.*
If anything tries to cause any amount of harm, little lady, it will regret it. I haven't seen any hint of us being followed, nor has Sugar. Take a moment to breathe. I'm not going to make you sleep, but you aren't going to keep going right now. I, for one, need to rest.
{ She was absolutely lying. He didn't need rest all that badly - they just wanted Alicia to rest. }
I wish we were being followed, then I could kill it !
You see my point?
...Mmm....
Okay, fine. We can stop, for you. I can keep watch, I'm not tired.
*Alicia was, actually, starting to get tired, but she didn't want her... companions to know how longs its been since shes slept, or ate anything. Plus, someone needed to keep watch, right? They were stopping for Splendore, so he clearly wasn't going to keep watch, and she didn't trust Sugar at all, so Alicia had to take on the role. At least she gets to rest some while doing so.*
{ Splendore relocated Sugar from his tendrils to his arms, and one could watch in real time as the feral goblin (who was stained with Splendore's blood, from chewing on her tendrils the whole time) shifted from irritated and violent to calm and...cuddly? What the fuck. }
Sit at least, little lady. Being on your feet will wear your legs out quicker. It's no help to keep up.
*Alicia watched as Sugar's demeanor changed with utter bewilderment. She didnt know it could... do that.*
Um- oh. Yeah. I'll sit.
*She glanced around the area, her eyes falling on a log almost directly across from where Splendore and Sugar were. What a conveniently placed log. Alicia sat down on it and hunched over, where she could keep an eye on the surroundings and her companions at the same time. Though, for someone whose livelihood and general obligation it is to fight villains all day, she doesnt have the best posture...*
