Given his choice between the ground floor and a very high, very open space, Theo would have made himself nice and cozy as close to the earth as possible. He had never been a big fan of heights. But forced to make a decision between a store on his right with busted-in windows or that clock tower on the left, Theo had veered for the taller structure, successfully shutting himself in and the encroaching crowd of the dead out.
The view might have been impressive to the right person, but it only served to nauseate Theo, so he’d sat down and put his back to the cool brick wall for awhile, just long enough to doze off. When the door flew open, it startled him awake where he sat in the corner next to it. The other survivor didn’t even notice him at first, so eventually Theo cleared his throat, trying not to startle her. “Uh. Hey.”
Alice was in a rush, not really thinking about anything else than getting to the top of the tower so she could look out of the view and see what she was dealing with from the Biters down below. Who knows if they were going to linger around and try to get in or quickly depart so she could slip out. She sighed when she looked through the half boarded up window to see there were several biters down below, scratching at the door and the walls trying to get in from below. Just great. When she heard the man clearing his voice, she gasped and turned around to him, clenching her shotgun in hand as she looked over to him sitting against the wall. "H-Hi.." She cleared her throat. "Sorry, I... didn't think anyone else would be up here. I'm just hiding... from the Biters. They're all over the outside of the building right now." She explained, taking a few steps over to him. "Do you mind if... if I wait?" Who knew if he was friendly or not but the fact he didn't try to sneak up on her to hurt her spoke volumes to her already.
