Rebecca never wanted to see the Hawkins town limit sign ever again. She didn’t want to walk through the halls of the smelly high school with its yellowing walls and creaking doors and pretend to actually like anyone there. She didn’t want to have to drive past the run-down diner parking lot where her best friend, Lisa, was kidnapped from. And she certainly didn’t want to see any of the people who looked at her like she was a porcelain doll about to shatter after the funeral - and that was just about everyone in Hawkins.

She would’ve been perfectly content with never going back to the awful memories that town gave her and lived with her father in a big city, but when her brother’s best friend went missing she didn’t see a choice. 

The more and more she uncovered, though, the more everything began to look like Lisa’s case from all those years ago. And when all her old scars get torn open once again, Bex must find a way to move on - one way or another.
