So in one of Hyoie's old insta stories, Hyoie goes up and asks him: Team Javert or Team Jean Valjean? Paul very seriously replies, Team Thenardier. [x]

Just a couple of days ago on his insta live he was explaining to a fan that the Thenardiers were originally "sort of like heroes in the book, they saved Marius' father" but were written like that in the musical to lighten up the mood a bit.

And I'm just... if this is not a perfect portrayal of Marius, I really don't know what is?
