1x01 Series Premiere: Peaked at #4 on Twitter’s United States trending top 30, trended for 15 hours and generated 59.6k tweets. Walker trended alongside Jared Padalecki
1x02 Back In The Saddle: Peaked at #4 on Twitter’s United States trending top 30, trended for 5 hours and generated 17.9k tweets
1x03 Bobblehead: Peaked at #6 on Twitter’s United States trending top 30, trended for 4 hours and generated 22.1+k tweets
1x04 Don’t Fence Me In: Peaked at #3 on Twitter’s United States trending top 30, trended for 3 hours and generated 11.7+k tweets. Walker trended alongside Micki, Cordell and Winchester Auto
1x05 Duke: Peaked at #3 on Twitter’s United States trending top 30, trended for 3 hours and generated 12.3k+ tweets. An analysis was provided here for further fan activity.
1x06 Bar None: The episode was pre-empted by President Biden’s address, which impacted the Walker hash-tag, the show did not trend on Twitter’s United States trending top 30 topic, but did accumulate 7.7k+ tweets.
1x07 Tracks: The episode did not trend on Twitter’s United States trending top 30 topic, but did accumulate 10.1k+ tweets.
1x08 Fine Is A Four Letter Word: The hash-tag peaked at #8 on Twitter’s United States trending top 30, trended for 2 hours, and generated 16.4K tweets.
1x09 Rule Number 17: The hash-tag peaked at #7 on Twitter’s United States trending top 30, trended for 2 hours, and generated 13.4k tweets. During the airing of the episode fans sub-tweeted a second hash tag #WeLoveYouJaredPadalecki, which accumulated over 4.9k tweets during the airing of the episode.
Other Twitter campaigns and trends:
Eileen: trended for an hour, and peaked at #29 on Twitter’s United States trending top 30, after Jared’s Variety interview was published. 13.6k tweets were generated during this time.
Happy Birthday Dean Winchester: trended for 1 hour during the characters aforementioned birthday. It did not appear on Twitter’s United States trending top 30. 20.2k tweets were generated.
We Love You Jared Padalecki: trended on Twitter after Jared live tweeted the Saturday after Bobblehead premiered where he live tweeted along with the show. Earlier that day Jared responded to fans tweets. It is unknown if this trended in Twitter’s United States trending top 30, however 27.2k tweets were generated.
Dean Cas Wedding: trended on Twitter, based on some recurring Supernatural castmates sending a tweet about Dean and Cas getting married at the roadhouse. Destiel fans ran with this theory and created a fictional wedding between Dean and Castiel on Valentines Day. The hash tag trended for 8 hours, and peaked at #4 on Twitter’s United States trending top 30. In the end it generated 46.3k tweets.
