Febuwhump day 22 alt prompt- feeding tube
{contains: pet whump, dehumanisation, medical whump}
Some sleeping pills, restraints and several scratches later, Whumper had finally managed to insert Whumpeeâs feeding tube.
They donât know why whumpee still fights back against having the feeding tube in. Whumper has had them for almost 3 years now and the tube is hardly anything new for the pet, the facility they got Whumpee from fed all the pets that way. But Whumpee decided to fight back at every step and it was really starting to get on their nerves.
Whumper winced slightly as they wrapped the gauze around their arm. Whumpee can definitely scratch thats for sure. Maybe they should fix whumpees little fighting habit, or at least try. They placed the gauze down and opened their laptop clicking on the pet forum tab they normally keep open.
Whumper admired their previous photos they took of their pet all cozy in their cage or with them black and blue, crying in pain, before posting a new message
Suprisingly they got quite a few suggestions, whipping, starving, all the usual punishments you would expect, but there was one suggestion that caught their eye and they began to grin. This one will work nicely. Now they just need to wait for Whumpee to wake up from their impromptu nap.
When Whumpee first woke up they noticed they were still tied down to the âhelping tableâ. They donât know why Whumper calls it that. The cold metal table does not feel helpful to them but oh wellâŠ
Looking to their left they saw a little trolley set up with a small scalpel and some other tools set on it. Words couldnât describe the amount of panic Whumpee felt seeing the tools all layed out, they tried to get off the table but the leather straps kept them in place no matter how hard they tried.
âWell you seem to be in a bit of a mood petâ
Whumper was donning his scrubs that Whumpee normally only saw them in before Whumper headed to their vet clinic, which has to be the weirdest thing to them about being Whumperâs âpetâ. Someone keeping a âpetâ who does work on real pets feels like a funny joke until it turns into them actually changing your body to look like a pets. God they hoped they werenât going to try and give them a tail again, that did not go well last time.
Whumper let out a small chuckle, grabbing the trolley and yanking out the feeding tube, replacing it with a muzzle instead.
âI can hear your little brain thinking pet, donât worry this isnât an aesthetic surgery itâs one I think will benefit the both of us.â
Whumpee really doubted that but calmed down a bit after hearing it was not an aesthetic unnecessary surgery but a beneficial to Whumper, but probably still unnecessary, surgery. They hoped they would get some anesthetic, or at least be told what the surgery is.
Their voice came out muffled when they tried to ask about being put under because of the bit from the muzzle in their mouth but Whumper seemed to understand them just fine. They didnât respond and picked up the scalpel making the first cut across Whumpeeâs torso. Guess the drugs is a no then.
They kept trying to twist and turn as each cut and prod to their skin felt like fire. If they didnât try to escape they would probably burst into tears instead and they were not going to give Whumper that satisfaction.
Whumpee lost that battle in the end. It had been nearly an hour since Whumper began the surgery and they gave up trying to hold in their cries after a while. At least it looked like Whumper was almost done whatever this was and Whumpee could go back to not being an operation patient.
âJust another minute or two pet and we should be good to go.â Whumper hummed happily while Whumpee stared them down.
Silence filled the room and Whumper eventually caught on to what Whumpeâs glare meant.
âIâm giving you a gastrostomy tube.â
âUghh right of course you wouldnâtâŠâ Whumper mumbled to themself as they inserted the small tube into his stomach, connecting it to something and then wiping the skin around the area down with some disinfectant.
âIts like a feeding tube but you shouldnât have to change it, it will just stay in and we attach the bag to this tube here.â Whumper pointed at the little tube and let Whumpee have a look. They didnât want to scare their pet too bad after all and Whumpee always got a fright when it came to not understanding what is going on in their body.
Whumpee was glad to have the restraints off and felt some pain in the area but could see the tube clearly. Whumper seemed a little concerned as Whumpee didnât speak even after the muzzle was taken out but they seemed to ignore that feeling and placed Whumpee on their lap instead.
Whumper giggled at the little yelp Whumpee let out and held them close to their chest as they attached the bag to the new feeding tube.
âThis will be better than me having to fight you to put your feeding tube inâ
Whumpee remained silent for a while and then spoke up, ââŠyeah⊠now you just have to fight me to put the bag onâŠâ They both froze and stared at eachother
âNo.â Whumpee shot up and started running to his bed in the other corner of the room, ignoring the fact they had been cut open a few moments ago.
âWhumpee! Stop that youâre going to get hurtâ
âUm yeah actually you bloody willâ Whumpee probably would have stopped if they didnât hear the playful tone in Whumpers words. If they cant fight them on the matter of the feeding tube then they will just fight them on this instead.
They both stopped after a few minutes, Whumpee worn out and Whumper checking the stitches they had done to see if they were still intact.
âWhy are you so difficult hm?â
âHa ha very funny. Donât run right after surgeryâ
âDonât do surgeries on me thenâ
They sat in silence the rest of the night, Whumpee asleep and Whumper checking up on their pet to make sure everything went well.
Maybe theyâll behave in the morning.
