Lessons learned when traveling to Ontario for training in week 2:
1. If you're traveling into Canada, regardless of how excited you are about your new job, DON'T tell the border agent that you're there for work if you're actually just there for training and won't be doing any work.
2. If you're a Canadian citizen, DO provide proof to the border agent immediately, prompting them to say "welcome home sir, here's your complimentary bottle of maple syrup"
Transitioning to a new job can be difficult.
