Change in the wind...

Okay so perviously I had stated that for this project I wanted to create an application which replicated to an extent, strings of a guitar. You can pluck, pull, and strum... And every time you did the strings would change colour... But as the title suggests. Things change.

Tomorrow I'll be presenting an application which a variation of what I initially tried to create. Instead of pulling the strings to change the colour what you can now do in click to combine all the strings and then pull them around to create various patterns using the lines. Clicking the right mouse button will change the colour so you can essentially create patterns or paint. Colours are limited to 6. Anymore and I'd have to rewrite the programme.

Big ups to Steven and Robby for helping me out on this. solid coding isn't my strength but I've tried really hard to get this project up to a higher standard.

I'll post up some screenshots so you can get an idea.

Post Interim Presentation

I thought I had a good presentation both Angela and my tutor seemed to have nothing but good feedback. The potential of this project is just amazing. I wish I had a time machine and witnessed the end. Methinks it could be rather fantastic.

Project Three: The final.

Tomorrow I present my project in the Creative Coding Interim Presentation. I don't have much in the way of the programme so what I plan to do is photoshop a quick storyboard. Possibly even create it in Illustrator depending on how I'm feeling later. As for the rest of the presentation, since it is basically a progress report my beginnings of this project should be good enough. I'll demonstrate what it can do (although the visual colour effect won't be working hence the photoshop storyboard).. 2-4 minutes of speaking.. Worth 20% of the final grade.. Ohhh I'm excited. I'll post up the requirements later on..

Hey sorry about the lack of updates... I got caught up with other projects and well... They consumed my tumblr time..

Okay so the premise of this next project is to create an interactive application using Processing.. Sounds fun!

I'm thinking of doing something simple and fun. In recent days I've had a fixation on particles. Don't ask me why it'll just get you as well as myself confused... Again..

So. The Interm presentation is this Friday and I've currently got nil work. That's fine though because I plan to work my butt off getting this project done to a high standard.

The plan is, tomorrow I will hound my tutor with a plethora of questions and see if he has some ideas which I could merge with my own.. I'm not sure what we need for the Interm but I'll find that out and hopefully put everything together Wednesday/Thursday. Thursday being the latest..

Once again sorry for the tiny neglect. I'm working on this relationship blog.. I promise.

Project Two: Assembled

Just assembled my project tonight and in my opinion it looks pretty decent. It might not be 100% right but with everything I was presented it's the best I could do. Hand in is tomorrow so hopefully all goes well

Got an email from Angela asking me to hand in Project 02 on Tuesday after break.

Finally finished all four sets. I quite like them. Still have yet to hear back from anyone regarding my work. =/
